Good morning, everyone!

Welcome to another edition of the birthday boy of the day, and today we have one of the most recognisable guitarists, especially among punk music lovers who were born between the end of the 80s and the end of the 90s... I'm talking about Kevin John Wasserman, more commonly known as ‘Noodles’! The virtuoso and good-natured guitarist from the punk rock band ‘The Offspring’ turns 62 today, and I have to tell you that he's very well preserved.

His nickname comes from being someone who likes to improvise, which in English is called ‘noodling’... I didn't know that, did you?

Just this week I've been listening to some of the most iconic songs by this and other bands from the same era. And a lot of it has been due to the posts and comments that geneeverett has left me over the last few days.

I'm now going to share with you some of the songs that have marked me the most from this band that told me a lot when I was a teenager and young man, and that I still listen to with great joy today, almost into middle age!

Bem vindos a mais uma edição do aniversariante do dia, e hoje temos um dos guitarristas mais reconhecidos principalmente por parte dos amantes de musica punk que nasceram entre o fim dos anos 80 e o fim dos anos 90... Falo-vos de Kevin John Wasserman, muito mais comummente conhecido por "Noodles"! O virtuoso e bem disposto guitarrista da banda punk rock "The Offspring", faz hoje 62 anos, e tenho a dizer-vos que está muito bem conservado.

A sua alcunha vem por ser alguém que gosta de improvisar, que em inglês se diz "noodling"... Esta não sabia eu, e vocês, já o sabiam?

Ainda esta semana fui ouvindo algumas das músicas mais icônicas desta e de outras bandas da mesma altura. E muito em parte por causa quer das publicações, quer dos comentários que o geneeverett me foi deixando ao longo destes ultimos dias.

Vou agora partilhar aqui com vocês, algumas das músicas que mais me marcaram desta banda que muito me disse quando eu era adolescente e jovem, e que ainda hoje, quase a entrar na meia idade ainda as oiço com muita alegria!
