Three Tune Tuesday - Ok Computer - Radiohead
Welcome to my FIRST #ThreeTuneTuesday entry! 🎼
I hope I don't disappoint music lovers with this publication. I want to talk about a group that really marked my early adult life. It was 1997, and I was soon to apply to go to university... That year, with a lot of doubts in my head, and being a very eclectic listener (you'll realize this in the coming weeks), I found an album that I loved from the first track to the last. It's an album that, as we listen to it, we become more and more immersed and involved in the instruments and vocal technique used.
Born from a band with some declared influences such as David Bowie, Pink Floyd, and The Talking Heads, it doesn't let any marked influence show through, paving the way for originality, complexity and involvement.
The British quintet presented the world with a masterpiece of sound, bringing to the forefront sampling techniques used for example in Hip-Hop, never leaving the use of classic instruments such as the piano or guitar unused.
Here are three songs from this acclaimed album (the hardest part was choosing just three...)
A little prayer mumbled in Thom Yorke's unmistakable voice
The imposition of society always influences everyone... this song tells us perfectly when we think that nothing can affect us.
It's impossible not to fly with this song... it's simply so good that I can't help but get goose bumps even at the last part...
What other memories do these songs bring back? What other artists would you have listened to this year if you were already born? Ahahah
I could go on and on about this band, and it's not just one publication that would do them justice. But here's my contribution to the fantastic career of this British group. I still find myself listening to this and other albums nowadays... It's impressive when you realize that they're over 26 years old... and they sound so current, right?
The post goes for Three Tune Tuesday challenge run by @ablaze.

how can you talk about radiohead without talking about creep? it's their signature song.... Well, the other three are wonderful, anyway, it's a very diverse band. Thanks for bringing them here😊.
You are absolutely right about "Creep"... One of the band's major theme... But included in the Pablo Honey, not in Ok Computer. It is almost a an unanimous answer when we ask around what is the favorite song from "Radiohead" ;)
ah ok! i was wrong heh,heh,heh....
