Three Tune Tuesday - Gun's and Roses - Izzy Stradlin - Birthday Boy #36 [Pt-Eng]

Welcome to my #TTT #ThreeTuneTuesday entry!

Welcome to another edition of TTT!

Today's birthday boy is a guitarist from a band - Gun's and Roses - that I've always admired since my earliest teenage years, and long before others from the Grunge movement.

I'm talking about Izzy Stradlin, who turns 63 today. Guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and co-founder of the band that sold millions and millions of copies all over the world. His mastery didn't lag behind Slash's, although back then who didn't drool over the solos given by the virtuoso and world-renowned guitarist?

Jeffrey Dean Isbell was born on April 8, 1962 in Lafayette, Indiana, USA.

During his childhood, Stradlin developed a particular interest in music, and by the age of 8, the bands that influenced him the most and that he liked the most were Bod Dylan, Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin and, of course, Pink Floyd. His grandmother, who was a jazz drummer, influenced him and made him ask his parents for a drum set!

At school he started a band with some of his friends, one of whom was William Bailey - also known as Axl Rose - and they played covers in a garage.

And that was the start of a long and prolific career, which even today still leaves some young and not so young people singing and playing Air Guitar as if they weren't being seen! Aahhaha

I hope you enjoy the selection of songs I've chosen. Just as a point of curiosity, I remember when I was young I had a VHS tape of a concert Guns gave in Paris, which I'm sure I saw more than 30 times!
