Good morning, music lovers!

Another edition of TTT, and for the birthday boy of the day, I've chosen the great artist Gen Taylor. Born on July 2, 1952, his style is marked by improvisation and his unique ability to unite blues, rock and jazz in one style, elevating and bringing something innovative to the public.

His career has had a considerable longevity, and this talented and very versatile artist has always been able to fit in with whoever was playing alongside him, always coming up with new elements, bringing everything to a fantastic stew, with flavors and tones that had not yet been experienced.

I have to confess that although I love this genre, I don't spend much time listening to it on a daily basis, which is why the career of this famous pianist, who is well known and recognized for his Boggie Woggie style, is not familiar to me at first glance. But it's almost inevitable that when you start listening to one track or another, you get carried away by his sweet, inviting chords and bluesy rhythms.

Gene began his career as a musician in Los Angeles around the 1970s, where he collaborated with George Harrison and even Frank Zappa.
His unique style brought him to the limelight with performances in his own name, where he showed all his talent and mastery of the keys!

Mais uma edição do TTT, e para o aniversariante do dia, eu escolhi o grande artista Gen Taylor. Nascido a 2 de Julho do ano de 1952, marcou o seu estilo pela improvisação e pela sua única habilidade de conseguir unir em um estilo o blues, o rock e o jazz, elevando e trazendo para o público algo inovador.

A sua carreira teve uma longevidade considerada, e fez com que este talentoso e muito versátil artista, conseguia sempre encaixar quem ao seu lado tocava, emergindo sempre com elementos novos, trazendo tudo a um cozinhado fantástico, com sabores e tons que não tinham ainda sido experimentados.

Confesso, que apesar de eu gostar muito deste género, não passo muito tempo a ouvir diariamente, e por isso a carreira deste famoso pianista muto conhecido e reconhecido pelo seu estilo Boggie Woggie não me ser familiar à primeira impressão. Mas é quase que inevitável que quando começamos a ouvir uma ou outra faixa, deixamo-nos levar pelas seus doces e convidativos acordes e ritmos marcados ao passo do Blues.

Gene inciou a sua carreira como músico em Los Angeles, por volta dos anos 70, onde colaborou com George Harrison ou mesmo Frank Zappa.
Seu estilo único levou-a à ribalta com actuações em nome próprio, onde mostrava todo o seu talento e mestria no domínio das teclas!
