Hello, good afternoon, everyone!
Another Tuesday, another post here in this very musical group on our Hive! And, as usual, I listened to what each of today's birthday boys had done in terms of music, and I discovered a real gem!
For today's birthday boy, I chose Andrew John Partridge, who was born 72 years ago in Malta!
He is one of the founding members of the British band XTC! I had never heard of this band until today... I confess that I am not one of the most knowledgeable people in the music world. But I was very impressed with this band, for which the birthday boy composed almost two-thirds of the songs, together with Colin Moulding.
XTC is a British band, as I mentioned, which was founded in 1972 in Swindon, and was notable for having gained considerable popularity on the new wave punk scene of the 1970s, later shifting more towards the pop scene.
They always had a very dedicated fan base and never disappointed them, always delivering very original and unique material.

Mais uma terça feira, mais uma publicação aqui neste grupo bastante musical do nosso Hive! E para não variar, do conjunto dos aniversariantes do dia, fui ouvir o que cada um tinha feito em termos musicais, e descobri uma verdadeira pérola!
Para o aniversariante de hoje escolhi o Andrew John Partridge, que nasceu há 72 anos em Malta!
É um dos membros fundadores do grupo britânico XTC! Eu nunca tinha ouvido falar deste grupo até hoje... Confesso que não sou das pessoas mais conhecedoras do mundo musical. Mas fiquei muito bem impressionado com este grupo que este aniversariante compôs a quase dois terço das suas obras, em conjunto com Colin Moulding.
Os XTC é um grupo britânico, como já o referi, que foi fundado em 1972 em Swindon, e que era marcado por ter ganho bastante popularidade da cena new era punk dos anos 1970, tendo inflectido mais para a cena pop posteriormente.
Tento sempre um grupo de fãs muito dedicados, nunca os desiludiu, entregando sempre material bastante original, e muito particular.
Espero que gostem tanto como eu descobrir mais uma fantástica banda!
