Three Tune Tuesday ~ Roddy Radiation ~ Birthday Boy #89
Welcome to my #TTT #ThreeTuneTuesday entry!
Hello, good evening, and welcome to another edition of “Birthday Boy of the Day”!
And for today, the fifth day of the fifth month of the year, I’d like to introduce you to Roddy Radiation!
Born on May 5, 1955, the English singer and guitarist, who turns 71 today, made his name primarily in a ska band called “The Specials.”
Formed in Coventry in 1977, the band’s original lineup included Terry Hall, Neville Staple, Jerry Dammers, Lynval Golding, Roddy Radiation, Horace Panter, John Bradbury, Dick Cuthell, and Rico Rodriguez.
Their lively music combined rhythms drawn from punk and rocksteady, two styles that were very popular in the late 1970s.
Social and political criticism were central themes in the lyrics this band presented, with a large part of their repertoire consisting of these two topics.
I must admit that I wasn’t familiar with either the singer or the band, so I did a quick search on YouTube for some of their songs. I chose three that seemed most appropriate for this post.
How has your week been going? I’m not quite focused on the rest of the week yet. Early tomorrow morning I’ll be having a medical procedure, but nothing to worry about or very serious. I expect to be back home very early so I can work my regular shift.
Did you notice the huge jump Hive made? What happened for 1 Hive to be currently almost hitting $0.08?
I hope you have a fantastic week!
See you tomorrow!

What a beautiful and amazing presentation keep it up
