Today, in the 85th edition of “Birthdays of the Day,” I discovered yet another fantastic group from the 1960s that I hadn’t heard of before. But when I listened to them, some of their songs really resonated and brought back memories of some old movies. Am I just imagining things? Hahaha
Well, back to today’s birthday girl. Today I’m talking to you about Patricia Bennett. Born on April 7, 1947, she turns 79 today. There isn’t much consistent information about this singer, not even regarding her date of birth. Some websites report that she was born a decade earlier... Which I don’t believe. But this community isn’t just about the information provided to complement the post; I’ll let the selected tracks from “The Chiffons” resonate in your souls :)

That’s my favorite part of this Ablaze contest. Being able to browse the list of birthday celebrants and find someone who’s been part of a great project but isn’t as well-known or recognized these days. Yes, for those who pay closer attention and follow music more “seriously,” this name surely wouldn’t escape their notice. In my case, even though the name didn’t ring any bells at first, as soon as I started listening to their repertoire, I recognized most of their biggest hits. They definitely leave no listener indifferent—that’s for sure!
