Today, another Tuesday, another birthday girl! And today I bring you one of those artists who, despite her age, seems to have a much older, stronger presence than her 39 years might suggest...
Emeli Sandé was born on March 10, 1987, in Sunderland, England, and grew up in Scotland. Her intense voice and passionate lyrics, sung with emotion and passion, accompanied by musical arrangements that elevate them even further, combine with her voice to give anyone goosebumps.
At the age of eleven, she wrote her first song for a talent show at her primary school. She remembers that moment as the moment she thought to herself that she could be a songwriter.

Emeli Sandé, nasceu a 10 de Março de 1987 em Sunderland, Inglaterra, e cresceu na Escócia. A sua voz bastante intensa, e as letras apaixonantes, cantadas com emoção e com uma paixão, acompanhadas por um arranjo musical que as eleva ainda mais a um patamar, que em conjunto com a sua voz deixa qualquer um de pele arrepiada.
Aos seus onze anos, escreveu a sua primeira canção, para um festival de talentos na sua escola primária. E ela recorda esse momento, como um momento em que pensou para si mesma que poderia ser compositora.
Apesar de tudo, Sandé completou o mestrado em Medicina, na Universidade de Glasgow, e após ter obtido o grau em clinica, especializou-se em neurociências. Ela sempre lutou para que tivesse um suporte, e sempre quis estudar, pois acreditava que se não conseguisse vingar no mundo da música, teria uma saída que lhe dava a estabilidade que precisava.
