On this day... back in 1969 - Ode to Bob Dylan's music
Welcome to my #TTT #Three Tune Tuesday entry!
Good morning, friends of music!
Today I'm posting something "historical", if you can call it that....
On this day, 9 April 1969, the famous folk singer Bob Dylan was releasing his ninth studio album called Nashville Skyline.
The great name of country music returned to his origins with a sound that gave him a status he had already achieved, but not quite obtained.
The first song I want to share from this album is "Peggy Day". It's a story of a love, once again unrequited, of a young man who is just looking for someone to steal his heart and keep him company at night... his name has everything to do with the day. Anecdotal, no?
The second song turns out to be an ode to beauty in which someone is enjoying life, and while the wind blows through the trees, there's always someone sighing for the night to bring them what they're longing for... once again we see one of the artist's favourite themes and something he said to his admirers.
The third song featured Johnny Cash, and it's the song with which the album begins, letting the southern sounds work their magic on those who imagine and let themselves be carried away by the sweet, drawn-out words of the two artists.
He is such a good writer!
Exactly! To listen to his songs is like reading a book, but with extended and more diversified content! Thanks for the comment :)
Simplemente genial muy buena publicación
