I learned German for 4 months but ages ago - we had a task to choose a German song and learn it - I chose Rammstein Spieluhr - ein kleiner Mensch stirbt nuer zum schein, wollte ganz alleine sein, das kleiner Hertz stillt..... lol...quoting from memory, without checking on Google 😁 I forgot most German words but I can read German since then 🙂 and have a general idea of German grammar.

Nice way to learn German - Rammstein got a lot shit these days in Germany re love affairs by the lead singer - usually it was more that some idiots called them out as Nazi which is also bullshit.
But listening to German music Rammstein might be ideal as the tone of voice is pretty clear to understand - they sing proper German - my fav still is that one:

In German there also might be an issue of two different meanings based on usage of one or two "s" in "Hast / Hasst" - major difference:
Du hast mich..... = You did "x" to me....
Du hasst mich = You hate me
