Hello Hello Hello music lovers!
It's yet another Tuesday and a day to share three tunes with the world. The #threetunetuesday is an initiative by @ablaze. For this week, I picked three random songs from my playlist. For reasons best known to my phone, a large number of my songs were wiped out and I was left with just about 95 songs. The phone was quite considerate if you ask me

Without further ado, let me introduce the first song of the day.
Joromi by Simi
Source
Simi is one of the female Nigerian artists I admire so much. She lives a simple life and her songs are also very simple yet relatable.
One thing I like about her music is her vocals. She has great vocals and sometime ago, I sang her songs everyday as a means to train my voice.
The word "joromi" means fine "girl"(you're free to use that information as you please :-) ). This song was released in 2017(6 years ago) but the song still strikes differently whenever I listen to it. From the instrumental, to the music video; everything just blends.
Unholy by Sam Smith ft Kim Petras
Source
The first time I heard this song was last year from a friend's WhatsApp status. I immediately liked the song because of the high-low proportion and how realistic the lyrics were. Some other popular songs from Sam Smith are "too good at goodbyes" and "stay with me".
The song "Unholy" paints the life of a cheating husband who hasn't been caught yet. But like we all know, these things eventually always come out in the end. I personally thought that the original music video was a little bit too extreme.
Soweto by victory ft Tempoe
Source
This is one song that I also like very much, especially the instrumentals in the ending. It's no doubt that afro beats with a touch of hip hop could get one dancing.
Soweto is a song that resonates with one's inner self. It's not too fast nor too slow; just the right tempo. I like that the music video was also very simple– no extras.
Victony is a fairly new artist and I must say he's doing well. Another of his songs that I like so much is "Holy father". His vocals are great and it matches his genre of music.
That's it for today's episode on #threetunetusday. Do you have three tunes that you'd like to share with us? Then I think you should go for it .
The videos above are not my personal property. They were all gotten from YouTube
Thank you for your time
With love, wongi ✨
The tune of Victony's Soweto has filled the musical space. Its his time to shine greatly.

Actually this was my favourite song and you are correct she has a great voice!
Now I want to hear your voice!
Great set of tunes and am glad that your phone left them on your playlist!
Oh really?! I guess you came across her music during your stay here.
It's still a work in progress but yes, you'd get to hear it soon.
No, it was a post on hive first time I noticed her...
Oh I am looking forward to it now!
It will be a wongi for listening to wongi:)
Hive is really a labyrinth of knowledge and exposure.
A prize listening to wongi😂😂. I'm sure it would be.
Yes and it becomes labyrinth upon labyrinth the more you explore,at least that is what I have found!
hehe a prize listening to wongi, you see I don't forget things 🤣
You're right when you say this. Hive fully portrays the popular saying "learning never ends"
just as well, as far as I am concerned you stop learning you stop living, and if you don't learn, well you never lived anyway!
There is my masters in Knowledge Management coming out, can you tell I love sharing knowledge!
It's very evident that you love sharing knowledge. It's a good trait.
Always good to have good traits.
The song titled Joromi sounds good to the ears. And the singer, Simi is pretty too 😁
She's a very pretty and simple artist. I'm glad you liked the song too☺️.
I really appreciate your stopping by ✨
I Love Simi' Joromi because it reminds me that it's not often that we have to wait around for the man we like take the shot. We ladies can do it too. Great picks for your ttt, @wongi
If only all the African ladies could here you rn. We need to start shooting shots too😅
Thanks for coming around ✨
Lol. Not, my fellow ladies. 😆😆
They would prefer to count grains of rice instead😅
Nice one my friend a nice trio, especially seeing as it was coming from a small pool of only 95 songs.. The first was my fave.
Many people seem to fancy the first too.
I really appreciate your stopping by ☺️✨
