For The 'Dreemers'

While doing a general house cleanup today, I had my playlist on shuffle. Luckily for me, the songs on my playlist have a way of increasing my work speed and at the same time keep me calm and composed. I guess our resonance with music has a lot to do with our personality.

A few minutes into the clean up a song came up and it felt like my music player knew exactly what I was thinking about at the moment. Recently, I found out the difference between 'dreams' and 'dreems'. For months unend I always thought that the latter was just a fancy and unique way of spelling the former. In the same light , I made a mental note to turn one of my dreams to a dreem courtesy of the dreemport challenge for the month of November.

Somehow, this piece of music "For The Dreamers" by Blaque keyz featuring Jon Bellion gave me some kind of reassurance that I was on the right track. That moment when you wonder if what you're doing makes any sense and the universe shows you some subtle but understandable signs. So I said why not? Why not share it with all the other amazing dreemers on the blockchain.

The past two weeks have been really interesting on dreemport. Getting to read about the dreems people have and what tools they could use to achieve these dreems. We are all humans who have dreamt or are still actively dreaming about a thing. In this case, dreems could be likened to goals. We all have that one dream that we yearn to achieve. Achieving this dream could literally make you the happiest and most satisfied person on the planet. If you are on this ship then this song featuring Jon Bellion is definitely for you.

The song reminds us that the path to achieving our dreams wouldn't exactly be one with smooth and amazingly scented roses. There would be thorns and foul smells too. Amidst the unpleasant experiences we may encounter, it would be in our best interest to keep striving because like they say "If you can think it then you can achieve it"

Yeah I'm afraid of heights ; but I'm not afraid to fly

This line in the song always hits the right spot as it has both a literal and a metaphoric meaning. Last I checked, I was afraid of heights but whenever I've been given an opportunity to soar, I do not relent. This is the attitude that all dreamers should possess. The 'anti-limiting' attitude. Dreamers should make peace with their stumbling blocks rather than shy away from them.

This is one song I came in contact with early this year but each time I listen to it, there is always a new and rebranded takeout. On that note, I'd love to dedicate this masterpiece to all the dreamers(including myself) and aspiring dreamers out there.

I would love to remind them that great things take time to suffice. To come to the limelight. To be achieved. So whenever you feel like you aren't making any progress or you feel like your dreems aren't feasible, you should remember to grab a seat, take in deep breaths and restrategize over a bottle of water as giving up isn't in a dreamer's vocabulary.

The video used doesn't belong to me. It was taken from YouTube with the sole aim of illustration

I believe stumbling blocks are just meant to be stomped on until they disintegrate!

I always love reading from you sis.

Thank you so much for saying this. I'm order to achieve one's dreams, it likely we come across stumbling blocks but we should know that it isn't the end of the road.

Instead we should find another way or method to achieve our dreams. I also love your choice of song. I will surely be adding it to my playlist.

Thank you for sharing this sis. Keep shining like the star you are.
