Earthly Relationships.

One minute you're inseparable and the next minute, you're strangers. Sometimes, human nature scares me a whole lot. I've had a question on my mind for quite a while now and the question goes thus; "do people eventually get to a point where they accept the fact that humans are structured a certain way and they may not stay forever?"

I've seen a quote that states that some people are in our lives for a season, some for a reason and some for a lifetime. This is amusing because whenever two friends turn to enemies are in the same room, the tension can be cut with a knife. The worst is when these two parties happened to be in a relationship. One doesn't need a soothsayer to say it. Do the feelings ever go completely? or both parties are so busy trying to stifle their feelings?

I took particular interest in the song "people you know" by Selena Gomez because of the symphony and the harmony. A good friend of mine with an angelic voice was soloing the song and the melody was just mind-blowing. I didn't pay attention to the lyrics till a few hours after she finished singing. The lyrics crept in.

People can go from people you know to people you don't-with time.

We can all agree that amidst our complexity as humans, keeping things simple is always better for everyone. This brings me to the people that keep malice with each other? Why?

The last time I tried keeping malice with a human being was in high school and a few hours into the feud, I forgot I was keeping malice with the person in question. How do people do it? Personally, I prefer to keep a free mind rather than hold a person in my mind because of anger or contempt. I'd rather walk up to you, tell you how your action affected me and forget about the issue. It's left to you to make your action and if malice is the best you can do, then that's just sad.

I don't necessarily have to be best friends with you. No one is an island and along the line, you may need help from a certain person but because of unnecessary pride and the so-called malice you're keeping, you prefer not to ask for help. Some people call this maintaining self prestige, I call it ludicrous.

I'm not the best at making friends because I'm very picky when it comes to the people I associate with and when I eventually make friends, I try my best to cherish them because whether they know it or not, they are special in their own way. On this note, I try to keep these friendships alive unless the friendship isn't working; only then can I walk away on a clean slate. This way, we move from friends to acquaintances and I could always ask an acquaintance for help whenever I need to.

This song subtly highlights the pain that comes with lost friendship and broken bonds. One of the most amusing things is that some people lose amazing friends because of very meagre and trivial reasons.

It can be really hurtful to lose a friend for trivial reasons but the good thing about humans is the fact that they always manage to heal, maybe not completely, but they move on one way or another. Is this good or bad? You tell me.

This beautiful piece of music–although really simple and easy to understand –leaves me with many unanswered questions. But like they say, some questions are best left unanswered.

How do people get close, and how and why do they go away one from another? Reasons can be many but I think many times there are misunderstandings or different interests - but if that can ruin a friendship then it is maybe not a friendship on a good and honest basis. In any case, nothing can be forced, relationship or friendship, people can come and go, though it can hurt in the first instance. Btw, cute cats hehe, it seems they do like to be together 😇

The reasons behind the decision people make may continue to be a mystery for as long as possible.

This is really wierd because we're living in a crazy world please permit me to use the words of Luck Dube. I trust there's every justification making choices that wouldn't hurt you at every point in time given that we have a short time here in the cosmos. From people we know to those we do not know makes it imperative we give our best to those we know when we're together since we aren't gonna live here forever. Nice and a pretty publication all together.

we cannot exactly say for sure what the people around us are thinking. The best we can do is be safe.

I suppose everything - well almost everything - has a start and finish. Friendships included. People change over time, that is a given. Not only because of experience and stage in life but also formed or reformed by their environment. Perhaps it is hard to lose a friend, I can imagine. Though I can't say I have such experience. Sure, some friends I don't see that often anymore, some very very rarely, but when I meetup with them again - this can be years of no meetups - it feels the same as always, true friendship.

some people are in our lives for a season, some for a reason and some for a lifetime

I can add to this: Close friend for a day or weekend. Experienced this in clubs and at festivals I went to frequently over the last 3 decades or so.

I guess nothing really lasts forever, but we can always try our best to enjoy our relationships as much as we can while they last.

People change for many reasons, and sometimes it hurts but that is just the way it is.

I have learned to give my best to those around me, and as well enjoy and cherish their friendship as much as I can.

This is certainly true. We can only live in the moment and hope for the best

I'm sorry about the late response
