This song is trying to project the power of the Lord, that although whosoever gathers—but it's not gathers, it's not fathers' name, it's just gather—no matter how the enemies pluck against us, no matter how the enemies plan against our life, no matter what they do, they will never succeed, because the Lord is with us. He is our shepherd of our soul, and nothing will terrify us, nothing will make us fear.
