The year 2024 is close to the end and we have every reason to give thanks to God for his love and protection and for seeing us through our challenging moments because without him we can do nothing.

The theme for this week (week 25) is 1980s Music and I was glad to find out how old the song "Give Thanks" is knowing how special the song is. I couldn't hesitate to perform the song for my entry.

"Give Thanks" is a song by Don Moen, released in 1986. There are different versions of the song and I added a twist to it while I performed and I hope you will enjoy it.

When I was little, my dad drove the whole family to our home town, we visited frequently almost yearly and it was an 8-hour journey by road and so "Give Thanks" was one of the songs he played in his car and we all liked the song. This brings so many memories.
