Week 135 - Fight Opresision

Opresión, sinónimo de agobio, depotismo, esclavitud.. Un término adecuado para referirse a la falta de libertad, estar sometidos o bajo sujeción.

_{Oppression, synonymous with oppression, depotism, slavery... An appropriate term to refer to the lack of freedom, to be subjected or under subjection.}

Existen algunos tipos de opresión, distintas circunstancias en las que éste fenómeno puede hallarse como lo son el racismo, el sexismo, la persecución religiosa, la opresión económica y social.

_{There are some types of oppression, different circumstances in which this phenomenon can be found, such as racism, sexism, religious persecution, economic and social oppression.}

_{Have you been affected by any?}

Entrando en el tema y hablando específicamente sobre la opresión social, desde mi punto de vista personal, la hallamos en nuestra cotidianidad de manera sigilosa, dentro de acciones y aptitudes, juegos e interacción social que en muchos casos ni notamos debido a alguna ocupación o actividad que estemos realizando.

_{Entering the subject and speaking specifically about social oppression, from my personal point of view, we find it in our daily lives in a stealthy way, within actions and skills, games and social interaction that in many cases we do not even notice due to some occupation or activity that we are doing.}

Éste suele ser un mal hábito que se a adoptado con mucha frecuencia y normalidad dentro de la juventud, cosa que en términos de ética está muy mal visto.

_{This is usually a bad habit that has been adopted very frequently and normally within youth, which in terms of ethics is very frowned upon.}

Cómo resultados y ejemplos de ello vemos cómo el bullying ha afectado de manera preocupante a muchas personas en el mundo.

_{As results and examples of this we see how bullying has affected many people in the world in a worrying way.}

Aquellos que son víctimas o que se han encontrado en tal situación, no siempre son capaces de hacer frente, en muchos casos hay quienes se ven tan atacados y más que todo al nivel social, es allí donde llega el menos precio a sí mismo, la inconformidad, el rechazo propio, la depresión.

_{Those who are victims or who have found themselves in such a situation, are not always able to cope, in many cases there are those who are so attacked and more than anything at the social level, it is there where the least price comes to oneself, the nonconformity, self-rejection, depression.}

Luchar no siempre es fácil, no siempre se logra de manera voluntaria, mayormente es necesario una motivación para ello y mucho más en éstos casos en dónde está en juego nuestro autoestima y fuerza de voluntad.

_{Fighting is not always easy, it is not always achieved voluntarily, a motivation is mostly necessary for it and much more in these cases where our self-esteem and willpower are at stake.}

Aún así existen aquellas personas decididas, capaces de aceptarse a sí mismos, son ellos quienes entienden lo importante que es el amor propio y asumen que sin él, no seríamos capaces de amar a nadie más. Aquellos que luchan por la igualdad, por la armonía y buena convivencia junto a todas y cada de las diferencias que pueden existir entre nosotros como personas.

_{Even so, there are those determined people, capable of accepting themselves, they are the ones who understand how important self-love is and assume that without it, we would not be able to love anyone else. Those who fight for equality, for harmony and good coexistence with each and every one of the differences that may exist between us as people.}

Luchar por la opresión, es una acción que motiva a la reciprocidad social, dar bien y recibir bien pero siempre sin esperarlo a cambio.

_{Fighting for oppression is an action that motivates social reciprocity, giving good and receiving good, but always without expecting it in return.}

Debemos ser capaces de ver más que por nosotros mismos, de ubicarnos en los zapatos de quienes nos rodean y asumir que no todos vemos la vida de la misma manera. El adaptarnos a otros, debería ser tanto un deber como un derecho merecido.

_{We must be able to see more than ourselves, to place ourselves in the shoes of those around us and accept that not all of us see life in the same way. Adapting to others should be both a duty and a deserved right.}

La vida nos prepara para cada evento en nuestras vidas, y mucha veces nos enseña a esforzarnos cuando tenemos un objetivo en mente, a luchar por ello.

_{Life prepares us for each event in our lives, and often teaches us to strive when we have a goal in mind, to fight for it.}

Les cuento que por desgracia, hace unos días tocó a mi puerta algo que suelo evitar a menudo, eso que a muchos cantantes nos hace la vida de cuadritos, la gripe 😖🤧 y aunque llega a límitar a algunos, yo me aproveché de ella para reposar y cuidar un poco más de mi instrumento.

_{I'll tell you that unfortunately, a few days ago something that I usually avoid often knocked on my door, that which makes our lives go haywire for many singers, the flu 😖🤧 and although it limits some, I took advantage of it to rest and take care of my instrument a little more.}

Durante mi breve recuperación, me motive en trabajar algunas de esas ideas que a veces guardo para un futuro incierto, cómo lo es crear contenido coral o a voces.

_{During my brief recovery, I was motivated to work on some of those ideas that I sometimes save for an uncertain future, such as creating choral or vocal content.}

Para el tema de ésta semana, elegí una pieza que me pareció más que perfecta y muy acorde para la ocasión, y eso debido a que también me permitió plasmar lo que tenía en mente.

_{For this week's theme, I chose a piece that seemed more than perfect and very appropriate for the occasion, and that's because it also allowed me to capture what I had in mind.}
