Solve The Riddle & Win a $1 Up-vote [#TTT Week 49] -"Bit of an Accent"

glow (2).jpg

The Tune Tune Train keeps rolling:

The Tune Tune Train is a challenge I came up with based on the Three Tunes Tuesday format. It´s a TTT with a riddle!

How does it work?

I will give you three great songs and you can win a $1 Ecency boost if you tell me what connects the songs.
A connection can be: they are all about flowers, they have the same drummer, they all sing about Pink Mushrooms, or they are all kids from famous parents. Just to give an idea of what a connection might be.

It´s up to you Dear Reader to figure out what connects the Tune Tune Train. The first one who drops the solution in the comments gets a $1 boost on their next post!
Or you can just wait till I solve the riddle in next week's post.

And these were last week's songs:

Sir Mix-a-Lot - Put 'Em On The Glass
The Who - Squeeze Box
Kelis - Milkshake

Last Week's Clue Were

Title; "Bit of an Accent"
Clue; I wish it was about big butts

We Have A Winner

It took a bit of thinking but these bumps could not be avoided:

You did have the time to beat @bozz so next time let me know you want to be on the tag list so you stand a chance against this wiseguy!

Here we go again!

All Aboard!

The Tune Tune Train is Taking Off!
Are You Ready To Riddle?

Yes I have been shilling this song these last years but this must be one of my all-time favorite synth-pop songs and you know I am a sucker for a good synth.

Wolfsheim - The Sparrows and the Nightingales

Now this song might spark some memories, some older ones and some not-so-old ones maybe. This is how I like my Dance music, dreamy and a bit old school.

Schiller - Dream Of You (NG Remix)

These next guys sound so good together, even in German. I love the contrast between those voices. Oh and it sounds like there are some synths there as well😜

Peter Heppner ft. Joachim Witt - Was bleibt?

Here, Have A Clue

The link is not synths, but I dropped a huge butt hint a couple of Fridays ago

If you still have no clue, and nobody else does there will be another hint this Friday.

Let me know in the comments if you figure out what connects these three songs. If you need another hint, check out my Midnight Gems Session this Friday!

Because the First to get it right, gets a nice $1 Ecency Boost!

The connection and winner will be featured in next week's #TTT

If that is not the answer then I guess the connection is they are all from Hamburg in Germany.

I can't even pronounce half the artists or titles, so I am going to skip this one. Good guess by @mypathtofire.

Well I knew that you had your hands full with last weeks riddle so I thought lets target a more European crowd this week but I expected @mypathtofire to solve this one. Now I maybe need to do another Special on Saturday....although I know we have quite a big German following on HIVE so lets see.

If the connection is German then I am going to guess the answer is David Hasselhoff.

Why does the Hoff always come up when talking about Germany !LOLZ well maybe I can do something with that guy in 2024 but No it´s also not the Hoff

Because the Germans love him for some reason. Not sure why though.

WellI guess this is what they like best about him

Yeah, that's a nice stereotype that evolved around his looking fro freedom coming together with the falling of the berlin wall and his lead in knight rider, which was a huge success in germany.

Not to mention baywatch, that was almost a revolution in german tv. some people treated it like porn.

Haha, that's pretty funny. I have a friend that has some of his albums and she loves him. I liked Knight Rider, I liked Baywatch, but I can't handle his singing.

Peter Heppner sings on Dream of You and I just checked and I can see that he is/was a member of Wolfsheim, so Peter Heppner himself I think might be the link this week?

I have no idea what connects these songs. Maybe voice? I like the first one. Classic synth-pop.

And that without reading the comments, well done ...it is indeed all the same voice unfortunately someone beat you to it. But thanks for playing!

Yes, I actually read the comments only later, when I listened to the music and wrote the comment. The singer is the same in all cases.
