Solve The Riddle & Win a $1 Up-vote [#TTT Week 39] - "Ring The Line"

The Tune Tune Train keeps rolling:

The Tune Tune Train is a challenge I came up with based on the Three Tunes Tuesday format. It´s a TTT with a riddle!

How does it work?

I will give you three great songs and you can win a $1 Ecency boost if you tell me what connects the songs.
A connection can be: they are all about flowers, they have the same drummer, they all sing about Pink Mushrooms, or they are all kids from famous parents. Just to give an idea of what a connection might be.

It´s up to you Dear Reader to figure out what connects the Tune Tune Train. The first one who drops the solution in the comments gets a $1 boost on their next post!
Or you can just wait till I solve the riddle in next week's post.

And these were last week's songs:

Howlin Wolf - Evil
Robert Johnson - Hell Hound on My Trail
Tom Waits - Way Down In The Hole

Last Week's Clue Was:

  • A Match In The Eternal Darkness

We Have A Winner

@ablaze is probably influenced by the celestial powers as he solved this diabolical riddle. He held that match up to the darkness and figured out these songs were all about the Dark Angel cast from heaven...Mr. Lucifer aka The Devil.

Okay, let´s do it again!

All Aboard!

The Tune Tune Train is Taking Off!
Are You Ready To Riddle?

Last week Howlin Wolf was such an awesome track and I found that wolf a great place, a rusty cage!

Soundgarden - Rusty Cage

Now if that did not compare to that Howly oversized dog than maybe these guys do

Nine Inch Nails - Hurt

Oh damn, I totally forgot how awesome this song and basically that whole album was. It must be somewhere as I bought several lifetimes ago. But that does not matter now, as today is redemption day.

Sheryl Crow - Redemption Day

Here, Have A Clue

Will Smith Avant La Lettre

If you still have no clue, and nobody else does there will be another hint this Friday.

Let me know in the comments if you figure out what connects these three songs. If you need another hint, check out my Midnight Gems Session this Friday!

Because the First to get it right, gets a nice $1 Ecency Boost!

The connection and winner will be featured in next week's #TTT

Hmm, is the link about hurting someone? The 3rd song makes it more tricky I think.

I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project which will be highlighted in the next post! Comment Footer.jpg

Nice try and thanks for picking my post, but unfortunately you are way off. But I expect someone to see it today as I think there are a bit too many clues. But it´s always easy to see those when you come up with the riddle !LOLZ

All three are fantastic songs in their own right and very well picked by the big man to cover. What ties these three beauties together is that Johnny Cash covered them all before his sad parting with these pastures and valleys we call home here on earth.

RIP Johnny Cash.

Sorry @whywhy, on a bit of a roll! I can't help myself, love a good riddle!

That was a beautiful answer to an awesome riddle mate and al other had enough time to beat you to it, I mean Hurt + The Tital + The Clue it should be solved.

I kept checking to boost you but you did not post since Thursday but I will keep those boosts coming as long as you are on a role! Just did it for today's post so its coming!

You got me on this one, I don't know French, so I can't figure out the clue.

Avant La Lettre is kinda a generic call out even in other EU countries: Avant la lettre definition: before the (specified) concept , word, person, etc. existed

But you are an hour late @ablaze beat you to it (AGAIN)

That still doesn't make sense to me. Can you give me an example?

Lol of course:
the Nintendo handheld games were mobile phones avant la lettre.
A mid-Victorian matron who was a feminist avant la lettre.
Johnny Cash was a Man in Black avant la letre

Based on what I found it seems that it is used in English-speaking countries

Ah, okay, so like before it was a thing. Like I made cargo shorts cool before they were cool. Although my wife would argue they still aren't cool.

For sure! They don't seem to mind them when they are shoving their phone and other stuff in all the extra pockets!
