I have been slowly moving from a mindset of just getting by to truly believing in abundance.

Though I did some serious rewiring already, I am starting to see how stuck I have been in that scarcity mindset.

Limiting myself for decades....

Because planning a future feels like a luxury when survival is the focus.

Itยดs such a perfect day, Iยดm glad I spent it with me....

Yes, that is how happy I am at this moment with this morning and myself.
Saturday is always a favorite, but today is special, and I am grateful.

Grateful for being able to recognize the funny twists the universe uses to tell me things.

Plus, grateful for being rewarded.

Lots of things to be grateful for today, and the day is only 2.5 hours old.

Today I took the next step.
I let go of the dream.
I entered the matrix.
I turned the dream into a plan.

I committed, and the universe approved.

How do I know that?
Itยดs simple, you need to learn to read the signs.
That only took me a lifetime, so I am sure it canยดt be that hard.

Really, I so feel I got rewarded, and on top of that recognize I got rewarded. Yes, it might all be my higher self rewarding me for a job well done, but does it matter?

This morning, I found myself afloat, and I decided to build myself a boat and sail home.

There I was, a slightly more modern Odysseus, finally going home and knowing it was good. Then that little movie in my mind needed a Soundtrack, and I remembered a song from 30 years ago that would be the perfect fit.

Today's chapter was about sailing home and how time, even for humans, still can be relative....and this soundtrack song had sailing in the title, but I also loved the B Side of the single called Eyes of Time.

That was a hint I did not see at first; what I did see was the name and the confirmation. Because I consider myself a man of a thousand words, and when I typed word number thousand, it was exactly the last word of todayยดs chapter.

I want to build a refuge, a place to heal after and during the battle called life.

A place of peace after struggle

A return to wholeness

An escape from the broken world

Arthurian mythology said there was such a mystical place, and it was called Avalon.

Avalon was the thousandth word, inspired by a song I never forgot.

How wonderful to see myself as Odysseus, "Sailing Away to Avalon," and knowing that the universe agrees with the plan and the name.

Thank you for making it this far....for those who know me...or better, think they know me, this might have been a WTF moment.

For me, this is a WTF journey, but I finally know my destiny: Avalon.

King Arthur was carried away on a boat to Avalon, where the mists of the world thin and time no longer reigns. To heal, as he was still needed.

Ever since poets and dreamers have chased that myth. I am a poet, a dreamer, a mystic, and a magician. But I will not chase the myth, I will recreate it just as she meant it to be.

Because over all these centuries, Avalon has grown, the word itself holds more power than the eyes of time can see.

In a quiet English village in 1897, a young writer named T.E. Wilburn sat beneath an old oak and scribbled in his journal:

โ€œAvalon is not merely a place, it is the ache of the soul that remembers something purer than this world can offer.โ€

That line would later appear in his forgotten book Through the Mists, and inspire the chorus of a 1974 folk song by Rowan Shade:

โ€œSail away, sail away / To the isle where kings still breathe / Avalon, oh Avalon / My heart you never leave.โ€

Avalon has that power. It clings to language and melody like sea mist to the shore. It has been filled with the whitest of energy for centuries.

The ancient Celtic legend, a sacred island of healing and immortality, shrouded in fog and guarded by priestesses.

Geoffrey of Monmouth wrote in the 12th century that Arthur was taken to Avalon by โ€œnine sisters,โ€ the eldest being Morgana, a sorceress.

To some, Avalon is paradise. To others, a metaphor for death, it might be both.

In 1996, Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation released the track Restless, its lyrics evoking a woman waiting for her lover to return from Avalon:

โ€œShe is waiting for the night to fall / The darkness to cover her pain / And in dreams she sails to Avalon again.โ€

Even today, Avalon appears as a vivid symbol of hope after ruin, of wholeness beyond despair.

In a 2004 interview, novelist Marina Haywood, author of Mistbound: The Avalon Cycle, said:

โ€œI wrote the series after a miscarriage. Avalon, for me, became the place where grief and healing met. That myth saved my life.โ€

Avalon is more than a story.

Avalon is a compass for lost souls, pointing somewhere beyond the chaos of the world, to recovery, to rebirth, and reset.

And like Arthur, those willing will all encounter the boat to take them there.
