My Musical Sunday School Sessions - Thomas Told US Not To Look But To See

Today no crazy apocalyptic biblical secrets but I will reveal one of the biggest secrets Jesus shared with his Apostles that never reached the church-approved Good Book.

This is probably my favorite book because it´s just so real. That is because they did not have 2000 years to manipulate the words.

Because this book holds many similar words you can find in the New Testament, that is because the words come from the same source.

Thomas just used quotes, whereas others built a narrative.
Those narratives polished the quotes, and then Rome did what it does best and make those quotes match their narrative and erase all the words that did not fit their divine plan.

The Gospel

We all should know what Rome is preaching...
They preach Do What I say and Do Not Do What I do...
The church is the conduit between you, a mere human, and the Optimus Maximus with the beard.

They suggest putting your faith in a handbasket and handing it over, which is an awkward thing for someone like me who thinks he has a very holistic view of Jesus.

My understanding is that Jesus was a scholar, a wise and educated person regardless of his enlightenment. Secondly, when Jesus was walking this earth there was no Church, there was no Catholicism.

It was a guy spreading wisdom, and insights. Inspiring people with teachings they could not get anywhere else because those teachings were limited to scholars and the religiously trained.

Now imagine a handsome young guy spreading words of wisdom to a crowd of the uneducated, a crowd that could not read or write, and had never seen a school from the inside.

Crowd Control

That guy is gonna leave a lasting impression, those words are gonna resonate for eons as they never heard them before.
At the same time, those in power will feel threatened as they know that a wise crowd is more dangerous and harder to control than a dumb bunch.

The best way to counter that attack is to do what Rome does best integrate bits and pieces with the divine plan to dominate.
Just like they did with Christmas and Easter.

That makes Thomas his Gospel so much more unpolished, and if you assume that these are the unpolished words of Jesus they might shock you.

Just like Jesus said his words will shock you. Where did hey say that....in the book or scroll I am highlighting today;

The Gospel Of Tomas

When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all.'" (Saying 2, alternate translation)

Before I go into the details, I just have to put it out there that the setup for religion in general is such a strange concept. Such a human concept, such a top-down dominating concept serving the elite and not the masses.

While Religion could be about, love, light, support, and improvement. The current concept seems to focus on limiting or removing knowledge, creating aggression, and driving segregation.

That is not a divine point of view, that is a restricted approach to increase the hold on certain groups of people.

Of course that is just my point of view, just like I think that God created us in his own image does not mean we look like God but that we are enabled to be divine.

My Pompousness

That might sound like a pompous remark, but imagine if you were god and you wanted to create one species to which you would give your greatest gift, giving them the gift of divinity.

And again divinity has a different meaning for each set of ears and is differently processed by each brain, but for me, it comes down to a simple key configuration that enables the species to think beyond basic emotions.

More Than Just Instinct

To oversee a vast number of scenarios, to see beyond instinct, pain, and hunger. To understand that whatever you create with your mind's eye can become reality.

Some call it manifestation, I call it the God particle in all of us. And I think that is what Thomas heard when he was listening and writing down the Jesus Quotes.

Saying 5: "Jesus said, 'Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you. For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest.'"

On the opposite of that liberating perspective is a system that does not want anyone to take the red pill.
That prefers to have the only being enabled with the sight to remain in shackles. Shackles of debt, fear, pain, greed, lust, insecurity, uncertainty, and doubt.

Because people who are shackled are easily controlled, and right now they are making it even more fun.

They make people think that they are unshackling themselves because they think they woke up and therefore liberated from the shackles. But being woke and thinking in genders is just another shackle. Another means to segregate people and limit their full capacity.

It is as if the devil is playing with it, and who knows he actually might be....

Why are humans so frustrated?

I will oversimplify things once again and boil all those words I used before such as greed, pain, and gender down to one word; Frustration.

Humans allow themselves to be shackled by their frustrations, instead of opening up they narrow it down.

Things are right in front of you, but if you keep looking the other way or in the distance, you will never notice what is in your face. Humans let themselves be blinded by the Glimmer and blind-sighted by their self-serving bias, which will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

"Jesus said, 'Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all.'" (Saying 2, alternate translation)

But that is only part of the god particle, the most important part is the power of creation. If I get the right teachings, I am able to see beyond human limitations.

I see that I own my perception of the world around me, and that I can influence that perception and by doing so influence the the forces that drive my perception.

Let me take that to the extreme

We are the only being on the planet that is enabled with the tools to be what we desire to be. And no it´s not as simple as I am white and I want to be black, so now I am black. Or I am a girl, but I feel like I want to be a boy so now I am a boy.

The previous generation indeed grew up believing that this is a makeable society, and society proved they were wrong.

BUT, if I identify myself as something, in my reality.

Mentally I am configured to be that which I identify as.

Say I want to Identify as a pig, that is already wrong.
Because that refers to a makeable option, and me wanting to make it happen.

I Am A Pig

If I identify as a pig, I am a pig.
Nobody can change that, people might see it differently, and tell me I am wrong but in the end, I identify as a (male chauvinist) pig. Good luck changing that, because it´s what I am. No matter that I do not have a snout, I know I am a pig and I do not need anyone to confirm that.

Now I don´t identify as a pig, nor as a gender, or a race. I identify as a soul, with a mortal coil. As an entity shapen by experience, I did not control most of those experiences and it shaped me into what I am today. If I am able to lift myself above the experiences that shaped me, if I can oversee the shackles binding my entity.

The fear of being left by a loved one.
The doubt if what I do is ever good enough.

The frustration that nobody seems to see me for the amazing writer I am.

"Jesus said, 'If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.'" (Saying 70)

What do I see, what do I see when I raise myself above my human disadvantages,

I am humanly impaired

I would see a balance, a balance in everything summer & Winter, Light & Dark, Pain & Pleasure, Positive & Negative. And I would like to be part of that balance, our biggest frustration as a human is knowing that there is this cosmic balance and that by being humanly impaired we are not a part of it, we do not see it.

"His disciples said to him, 'When will the kingdom come?' Jesus said, 'It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Rather, the Father's kingdom is spread out upon the earth, and people don't see it.'" (Saying 113)

When we achieve the balance, when we obtain the power to be like water and the insight that in the core everything is just a bunch of atoms held together by perception we are in contact with our god particle.

"Jesus said, 'Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the All.'" (Saying 2)

"Jesus said, 'Whoever drinks from my mouth will become like me; I myself shall become that person, and the hidden things will be revealed to him.'" (Saying 108)

The Kingdom is not in heaven, it´s here on earth and when you see it you will be astonished because you will be in control and rule over all. To do so absorb the words.

The Gospel of Thomas is really clear on the fact that the Kingdom is not in heaven but right here in front of us.

Saying 3: "Jesus said, 'If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father's) kingdom is within you and it is outside you."

Saying 113: "His disciples said to him, 'When will the kingdom come?' Jesus said, 'It will not come by waiting for it. It will not be a matter of saying 'here it is' or 'there it is.' Instead, the kingdom of the Father is spread out upon the earth, and men do not see it.'"
