For those of you who are new to my MidNight Gems series. Welcome to this nightly trip on which we will uncover & recover some amazing songs & covers.

Last week I felt a bit special, doing that summer Latin vibe thing.

This week I go and do something different. I will do a very normal Midnight Gems session with unexpectedly cool gems.

I had this album back in the day I might bring it up in a nineties post at some point soon, but they were songs in the key of X. They were all slightly weird but very cool and not connected at first glance but still they had this X factor.

That is the plan for today, weird song in the key of X. Let´s see if I can stick to the plan for once.

Let's not yet get ahead of ourselves and simply start at the beginning. I am not a serious believer but this is almost power pirate Celtic metal.

This tune just makes me so happy, empowered, and angry at the same time I had to share although probably few peeps get it without translations.

Somewhere lost in time, trying to escape out of the rabbit hole back into the rat race there is a vacuum..... that´s the place where midnight gems are found.

My Midnight Gems will try to uncover & recover those beautiful songs that nobody ever noticed or might have been forgotten.

Who the fluff am I?

Being a former DJ playing about everything and having an uncompleted study of radio journalism. I have been wanting to do this for years...Thought about it many nights and guess now it´s time to finally take it to the streets.
