Beyond The Looking Glass is the second book in the Unseen series, a story that came to me from the other side. A story where I thought I was just the narrator until I heard the Words of the Unseen.

This second story goes beyond time and place and mixes the long ago with the here and now. Because history keeps repeating, until we learn and do something about it.

Beyond The Looking Glass - Words of the Unseen - Chapter 159

Dear Reader, expect the unexpected.

Oscar Wilde knew that and also said that to expect the unexpected shows a thoroughly modern intellect.

Now he´s been dead some time, but I think that saying still applies.

Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher, is said to have expressed a similar sentiment, suggesting that one should not be surprised by unusual events. I will even go a step further.

Unusual events are the keys to revealing life's mysteries; they hold so much more than what the human eye can see.

And even the human mind is easily tricked into believing that a series of unusual events is nothing more than ourselves trying to biasly make sense of our fantasies.

While in a different reality perception, we might be shown glimpses of a universe far beyond the veil.

I take one more deep breath.
"The end of the book will be that it is the biggest love story of all time, bigger than Romeo & Juliet."

"Sei, after finally delivering the message, will choose to become human once more. She chooses to be reborn and find me once again.

That seems impossible from a human perspective, but it should become clear to the reader that on a spiritual level, these things are bound to happen."

"Although you never know how that will play out exactly. She does so we can complete the mission that Numico told us about, and have one more lifetime at our level in which we can really enjoy the perks of being human."

"She will live in Spain, and I will have a lot of lessons to complete before I find her. She will also have a very complex road ahead of her to be ready in time for us to meet. But we will meet, we will remember, and above all, we will complete the mission, together."

I look at her, hoping I do not have to mansplain what I just said. I can see she processes, and I can see the corners of her mouth curling up in the cutest way.

"So......" pause.
"So I am Sei, the Sei from the book, the girl that moved in with you and became your...wife, at that very young age."

I nod, "It would explain your love for older men, right?" It´s partly a joke, but it does make sense.

In essence, it makes more sense now that I think about it.

Unconsciously, I have been looking all my life for a girl with certain physical features, features I think now were Sei´s.

Deliah and Claudia both had those features, and I unknowingly recognized those, but they were ´False Prophets´, just there to ensure my mind would remember when I would meet the ´True One´.

"That would also mean that... I was Sei, Sei-She, your guide?"

"I guess it does," I say with a huge smile as I just remembered something, or rather, it awoke in my mind.

A few days ago, Luzbella was asking me a question, one question that triggered a thousand words.

I do not even remember the question, but I do remember how she looked at me.

With eyes that hold more wisdom than humanly possible.
Or at least that was my perception, and I knew I had seen those eyes before.

It´s once again all coming back to me now, the wave of memories refreshes that sleepy part of my brain.

Damn those eyes, Sei looked at me so often with those eyes that seemed to hold so much wisdom.

"Sei, as in the woman in your book, makes sense, even more sense now, because I identified so much with her. But me....your guide...the high priestess, I don´t know how I should see that."

I laugh out loud, "You don´t have to, I am already happy you did not run away, that would have ended this book with an anticlimax like a bad Netflix series."

We both laugh out loud.

The next weeks were so weird, I am sure that those who will read this and are sceptic will blame it on the self-fulfilling prophecy.

I am blinded by my bias, not seeing straight, because I am systematically distorting my findings to make them fit this fantasy story.

Which might all be very true, but if you believe in mental power, in alchemy and witchcraft, the most powerful spells come from one who truly believes.

In addition, I know how I felt when I had the revelation during my meditation. I know I never felt like that before. I felt the dumb grin on my face almost exploding, and the same thing happening from my chest to my groin.

I know what Sei said that day on the bed, and I know her eyes.

I have more proof than most for those things I choose to believe in, and that is what will make my belief powerful enough to complete the mission.

Yes, the great skeptic in me doubts very much if I am not just looking for purpose in this third inning of my life.

Then the wise self tells me; Even if that is the case, it seems you are enjoying it a lot, and that is enough to continue.
