Beyond The Looking Glass is the second book in the Unseen series, a story that came to me from the other side. A story where I thought I was just the narrator until I heard the Words of the Unseen.
This second story goes beyond time and place and mixes the long ago with the here and now. Because history keeps repeating, until we learn and do something about it.

When we entered the second apartment, I was taken by the view. It was better than the view from my penthouse, and this place was a lot cheaper as well.
It would have been ideal to buy the penthouse, and it was an option. But there were several things that would need fixing, and compared to this one, it would be at least 20K more expensive.
On the downside, we would have to move all our stuff in the elevator, go down to the garage, go to the next door, and take the elevator up to this apartment. But hell, that and this view would easily be worth the 20 thousand euros.
The only question remaining was, can you buy an apartment? And can I do it in two months' time?
Two months really isnยดt much for buying the biggest thing in your life, and what are the costs? How much do I need to bring to the table?

Yes, you can buy an apartment in under two months.
You can even get light and water contracted and connected, and all this in what is normally considered the land of maรฑana.
I am sure that would not have been the case if I had bought that fantasy of a B&B in the middle of nowhere, but this apartment that had never been lived in before was now our new home.
It might not have been according to plan, but if life gives you lemons.... You go and buy your first piece of real estate. Our plan was still to sell it in two or three years at max, but we had a place.
This place was mine, and no landlord could ever tell me to leave again and that feeling is worth a million bucks.
I never thought that buying would be an option for me, but with my savings and my parents' support, it was within reach.
Yes, my financial buffer was goneโbut it would return. I was now paying less than I had while renting, and most of what I spent was actually going back into my own pocket.
How the world has changed in just a few years, from being dead broke and scraping by, to owning a house, and being able to put money aside every single month.
Yallenix and I really had turned things around, we found peace and calm in our safe new place, and started planning for our future again.
The house would come first, and then I could start looking for my premonition.
Which made perfect sense, although I wondered why I would be thinking so many steps ahead already?
Did I miss my life at the cortijo that much?
It did not really matter, first things first.
During those first six months, I noticed that owning real estate in this city in the south of Spain at this moment in time was more than providing a roof above our heads.
All the apartments we visited got sold, and as the market is based on supply and demand, our apartment increased in value faster than Jan-Willem had calculated.
This was just step one, is what I kept hearing.
In the back of my mind, I knew. I was pushed once again, this whole deal started to make sense on so many levels.
Have I always been this deaf, dumb, blind kid, that only now I start seeing those patterns?
Does it come with age?
Or am I making things up as I go?
Am I having some type of brain rot, causing me to hear things, see patterns, understand how an action now can and will influence my future?
Personal finance had become a game, a game I needed to win. But that is with any game, and this apartment was not my only investment, but it turned out to be a really good one.
This could really speed up the process of buying a nice house. It sounded like a dream to move from this place, to one with no neighbors above or below you...and ideally no neighbors at all.
That was still a bit above our budget, but the game had just started.
