Sticky Notes - an original trap beat

It's a bit of a rainy day today, so I decided to walk to the studio right now and spend some time playing around with a few of my toys.

I decided to go for a trap beat today. It's just an experiment. Let me know what you think.

For drums I went with Battery's Cleancut kit for the kick and claps

And native Instruments' Massive for the custom 808. I dialed everything in on thins one. Didn't use a preset:

I'm also using Massive X for some of the noises to add texture and dynamics:

And an instrument called Lo-Fi Glow with a preset called Birdbath Resin for the grainy melody

I'm sharing my creation here because I think blockchain tech is an amazing tool for people in creative fields: musicians, designers, artists... Embrace #freedomtools and use them to your advantage. Don't stop creating and learning.
