Hello Hive Open Mic community, it’s @wealthwess here, and I’m thrilled to join you today for week 279. This week’s theme, Hug Me, chosen by our recent spotlight artist, has inspired me to perform a cover of Unconditionally by the incredible Katy Perry.

I chose Unconditionally because this song radiates love, warmth, and the kind of embrace that feels like a hug through music. Katy Perry’s heartfelt lyrics and powerful delivery perfectly capture the essence of unconditional love, which to me feels like a musical hug open, comforting, and all-encompassing. The way her voice carries raw emotion makes this track a beautiful fit for the Hug Me theme.

There are so many songs that could suit this theme, but Unconditionally stands out for its ability to wrap you in its melody and make you feel truly cared for. Katy’s vocal magic creates a sense of connection that’s like a warm embrace, and I hope my cover brings that same feeling to you.

Elegí Unconditionally porque esta canción irradia amor, calidez y el tipo de abrazo que se siente como un abrazo a través de la música.
