Hello Hive Open Mic community, it’s @wealthwess here, and I’m excited to be back with you for week 281. This week’s theme is Vacation, chosen by our recent spotlight artist. For this, I’ve decided to cover the upbeat and carefree duet I Don’t Care by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber.

This song is the perfect vibe for the Vacation theme. Its lyrics capture that laid-back, don’t worry be happy mindset of being at a party or in this case, a vacation where you just let go of stress and live in the moment. To me, this song is like a snapshot of a perfect getaway, where nothing matters but the joy of the present.
