Hello Afri-Tunes community! It’s your boy @wealthwess, back again for Week #193 of this amazing musical journey. This week, I’m excited to share my cover of Katigori by the exceptionally talented Oxlade.

Oxlade, one of Nigeria’s most soulful Afrobeats voices, brings pure emotion and finesse in Katigori a song that blends smooth rhythm, heartfelt delivery, and that signature Oxlade vocal magic. Katigori is all about love, desire, and vulnerability, wrapped in melodies that hit straight to the heart. With his silky falsetto and expressive tone, Oxlade creates a sound that’s both intimate and irresistibly captivating.

The first time I heard Katigori, its sweetness and emotional pull gripped me immediately. The groove, the softness, and the passion in every line made me want to dive deeper into its essence. For my cover, I approached it in my acapella style by adding my own vocal touch while keeping the song’s warm and tender vibe intact and i do hope you enjoy!
