Hello Everyone! How are you all doing? it's good to be back again this week, i welcome everyone to Afritunes week 70. This week i'll be performing a cover of a song by nigerian ariste by the name Kizz Daniel and the title of the song is MAMA.
I'm performing this song because it talks about "love", you know it's a type of song couples can use to celebrate on there wedding anniversary or other occasions related. Personally, this song was an inspiration for me because i could remember i was motivated by it the year it dropped in the essence that i got to push myself into doing what i love which is making music, For years, prior to the release of the song (MAMA by Kizz Daniel) i used to procastinate of going to studio and recording a song of my own (Then, i guess i was a little scared of jumping on mic).
But, somehow i got courageous after listening to Kizz Daniel's MaMa (for about 50x a day on repeat, which shows how beautiful and magical the song was to me) then, i thought to myself that boy this is it, it's either now or never. Well, many months passes after that but yeah, i later got to record my very first song and it was released few months later under my stage name Mide Wess
Therefore, i'm excited that for this week i got to perform the song that took me out of my shell in the first place and i hope you'll find it worthwhile.
