Hello, Hive open mic community it’s your friend @wealthwess and it’s of great pleasure for me to be here today for our beloved weekly concert. Last week was a good one as i got to listened to some amazing performances and i know this week will be a blast as well. The theme for this week is Stonger which i commend to be a very good theme and i’m already seeing top notched presentations from the hive open mic community and that already got me pumped to join in asap.

Now, i thought for a while a song i could performed based on the theme and i stumbled on Kelly Clarkson song which is also titled Stronger as per this weeks theme, so i thought to myself “why not just go for it” and i did. Although, this is an old song but it still gives that chills because it’s just a powerful song with a powerful message one can easily relate with. Normally, I’m a fan of Kelly Clarkson because of her amazing talent which has earned her numerous accolades including 3 grammy awards or so and also being the first American Idol winner in 2002 says a lot about Kelly.

Haven’t said that, the song is about never giving up, about perseverance, being strong in regards of the situation one might be going through or find oneself and that’s why i see it as a perfect fit for this week theme and i do hope my performance will be worth rewatching again, enjoy.

Hola, comunidad de micrófono abierto de Hive, soy su amigo @wealthwess y es un gran placer para mí estar aquí hoy para nuestro querido concierto semanal. La semana pasada fue buena, ya que pude escuchar algunas actuaciones increíbles y sé que esta semana también será genial. El tema de esta semana es "Stronger", que recomiendo encarecidamente. Ya estoy viendo presentaciones de primer nivel de la comunidad de micrófono abierto de Hive, lo que me motivó a unirme lo antes posible.

Estuve pensando durante un tiempo en una canción que pudiera interpretar basada en el tema y me topé con la canción de Kelly Clarkson, que también se titula Stronger, que también es el tema de esta semana. Así que pensé: "¿Por qué no intentarlo?", y lo hice. Aunque es una canción vieja, todavía me da escalofríos porque es una canción poderosa con un mensaje conmovedor con el que uno se identifica fácilmente. Normalmente, soy fan de Kelly Clarkson por su increíble talento, que le ha valido numerosos galardones, incluyendo unos 3 premios Grammy, y además, ser la primera ganadora de American Idol en 2002 dice mucho de Kelly.

No lo he dicho, la canción habla de nunca rendirse, de perseverancia, de ser fuerte ante cualquier situación que uno pueda estar atravesando o en la que se encuentre, y por eso la considero perfecta para el tema de esta semana. Espero que valga la pena volver a ver mi interpretación. ¡Disfrútenla!
