The best show of my life / El mejor show de mi vida [ENG-ESP]
In my family there was always a culture for music. It is very varied. He likes all kinds of styles, such as cumbia, romantics, pop, but ROCK moves us all. The five members of my family love rock, whether it is Argentine or international. The first person who introduced us to international rock bands was my father, who always played Creedence Clearwater Revival vinyl records. Those afternoons were unique! Dad would sit on a chair and tell us... come on, he's listening to that guitar solo. The voice. How does the bass sound? It was a unique experience for us and from there it gave us a taste for music and two of our three children ended up being musicians. In my case it is a hobby but in the case of my brother, he turned professional.
In my childhood and adolescence, the one who discovered gangs was my father. He came with some VHS video with an international band and told me... look at this son, I think they are incredible, and he was right. He had a very good ear to make me know great rock bands in history and in the world. And it was he who introduced me to a band that marked my adolescence and my passion for the electric guitar, he brought me a video of an Australian band with a guitarist they called the DEVIL of Rock for his characteristic little horn when he played the guitar. This band was nothing more and nothing less than AC-DC!
Me and my brother spent hours trying to figure out how he played that song. Like he did those guitar solos. We tried to imitate them with their steps on stage. It was the most incredible rock band live! Listening to their records live were better than the ones recorded in the studio, which told you what a quality band they were.
One day dad came home from work and said, I have a surprise for the whole family. Just because!. The whole family was a fan of this band! Even my mother who was not a fan of rock, she went crazy with the rhythms and riffs of Angus Young, the guitarist. It was there that he told us in the kitchen of my old house, family... let's all go to the River Plate stadium to see ACDC!!!. I could not believe it!!!. All my family in the stadium?. Am I going to see live the band that marked my entire adolescence? It was a dream come true!.
The day came, we were all in the upper tribune. We were very far away, but in River everything is far away due to the enormous size of the stadium. So with binoculars and big screens, we could see everything that was happening on stage. The show was about to start. People began to fill every corner of the place. When it was time for ACDC, River exploded!!! I have videos where my parents are filmed, waving their hands, jumping around, singing in a language I don't know what it was because neither of them knows a word in English, but they were happy!!!
I will never forget such a memory, I will never forget the smile on the face of each one of them. I will never forget the experience of being in the best music show of my life!
