To be honest, I wouldn't particularly want to be buried next to the speakers of A Place to Bury Strangers right now.
Błoto's music gets my pulse racing and makes me feel a bit nervous, but in a good way.
If there were not Laibach, Adrian Younge would be the standout act in today's performances. When I read São Paulo, I had some concerns (bossa nova, tropicalia). Fortunately, they hadn't been confirmed.
Julián Mayorga should come to my village when the chickens move from the coop to the soup pot. There would be completely different sounds.
Kim Deal used to be more exciting.
Now you're serving me the heroes of the retro avant-garde with a version in which they haven't even changed the lyrics. What's happened? Laibach should be elevated to the high pedestal of the #ttt stage. The problem is that three songs are never enough.
I picked this up last week. Maybe I should have searched more sources, but it all seems very listenable after listening to it several times. Of course, a lot of it, perhaps better (read: more listenable), has gone by. But that's the way it is.
