Although I have continued to play @risingstargame, it has been some time since I last wrote about it. One thing I definitely respect about the game is continuous development. I saw it happen through two bear markets and I see it happen now. The team deserve praise for their commitment to building on HIVE. Even if you don't have any interest in the game, more activity is good for $HIVE.

Augmented Shopping Experience With Rising Star Utils

As most DAPPs on HIVE, Keychain is the way to interact and be a part of Web 3. When users get to own their assets and developers at lest partially embrace open source, it is common to see tools such as Rising Star Utils come into existence.

Yellow Rave is Winning

Green Rave has managed to create this cult like effect leading to amassing a far larger number of Ravers compared to the rest of the Raves. I have been fighting against this boredom. The game needs to be more dynamic than that. Every player will at lest earn 0.001 HIVE in rewards regardless of who wins. This is a good way to encourage more player participation.

Record Staking is a Pain

Unlike the older days of Record Staking where I could keep clicking, I had to go through 420 different clicks to complete the above Record Staking. Even the old method was inconvenient in my opinion. There is a better way already present in other parts of the game. Imagine having to withdraw only 1,000 STARBITS at a time. Fortunately we are spared of that pain. I would like to enjoy the same when I participate in Record Staking.

Unstaking After Records Sell Out

Although there are many Records that have almost sold out, only one of the ones I had staked on had completely sold out. Make sure to check periodically to see if there is any maintenance work to be done on Records you have staked on.

We Are Stronger Together

A win for HIVE is a win for everyone in it. The user onboarding of @risingstargame leads visitors to @leofinance and @splinterlands. The developers get to focus more on the game while the 2 projects that created easy onboarding services get free publicity.

We are in a positive sum game. When there is a variety of DAPPs around, it becomes easier to gain and retain users. LeoDEX has already made $HIVE more accessible. More features are being developed on both Layer 1 and Layer 2. What we need now is a better network effect.
