Video and Pictures - The Great Machine - Funrider - The Cassette 14th Birthday, Jerusalem 05.2023.

Hello here to all my hive friends. Especially the one's loves rock'n'roll :-)
Yesterday this happened again - yesterday I felt like in a kind of circle. I met THE GREAT MACHINE band first time exactly at this place during the same birthday celebration - a birthday celebration of the music valley - The Cassette place, well known by the locals of Jerusalem as the most progressive place for the advanced people, living in this hard-core, super religion city, full of vibes of all kinds of religion, terrorism, force and pressure from all the sides of authorities - the police, the army, and the city municipality. But as many of us know, when the vise presses harder - there is always some place for more resistance.
So as I said - I met this band here at this corner when they played for the Cassette's birthday, and I immediately fell in love with their music, very dynamic, taking the roots from the 70th psychedelic days, but adding some modern sounds and techniques, even they mostly use the same old simple music gear from 70th.
Their freshly baked album was released into the wild just a week ago. "Funrider" is the name of this album, and one of their songs, the video of them performing this song live you can watch below.

All the way to Jerusalem the weather was historically hot, around 35C, with tons of tiny dust in the air, so visibility was almost zero. But very close to their performance time, the heat breaks and become very nice, around 20C.

In two weeks they are attending the DESERTFEST in Berlin, so if you're living in this area of Europe, or just loving this kind of music - Stoner, psychedelic rock, they are performing close to the end of the first day immediately after SOMALY YACHT CLUB band.
