Un Encuentro de Formación, retos y buena música|A gathering focused on training, challenges, and great music.
Hola, amigos, ¿qué tal están? Bienvenidos a una aventura más sobre mi vida. El día de ayer estuvimos en un núcleo diferente al nuestro para una formación de lenguaje musical. Estos son encuentros que se vienen realizando desde hace algunos meses, pues el lenguaje musical es, a mi parecer, una de las mayores debilidades tanto en profesores como en alumnos; es un área que puede ser tediosa, requiere de mucha práctica y estudio constante.
Hi, everyone, how are you? Welcome to a new chapter in my life. Yesterday we went to a different center than ours for a workshop on music theory. These sessions have been taking place for a few months now, since music theory is, in my opinion, one of the biggest weaknesses for both teachers and students; it’s an area that can be tedious, requires a lot of practice, and constant study.
Cuando los profesores nos dedicamos a dar clase, muchas veces olvidamos retomar estos temas debido a la cotidianidad, la rutina y la cantidad de actividades que tenemos a lo largo de un trimestre, como los conciertos y otras situaciones laborales. Por ello, estas formaciones han sido de mucho provecho para recordar o ver desde una nueva perspectiva el lenguaje musical
As teachers, when we’re busy teaching, we often forget to revisit these topics because of the day-to-day grind, our routines, and the sheer number of activities we have throughout a semester, such as concerts and other work-related tasks. That’s why these training sessions have been so helpful in refreshing our memory or looking at musical language from a new perspective
En lo personal, no me considero experta en estos temas porque gran parte de mi formación ha sido autodidacta y empírica. A pesar de que en algún momento toqué la viola, había muchas cosas que no recordaba y otras que simplemente no había visto. La finalidad de estos encuentros es que cada profesor se capacite, se interese por poner en práctica sus conocimientos o aprenda herramientas totalmente nuevas.
Personally, I don’t consider myself an expert on these topics because much of my training has been self-taught and based on experience. Although I played the viola at one point, there were many things I didn’t remember and others I simply hadn’t encountered before. The purpose of these sessions is for each teacher to develop their skills, become interested in putting their knowledge into practice, or learn entirely new tools.
Como cada formador tiene una manera distinta de enseñar, estos encuentros nos regalan "tips" que valen oro. A veces descubres que una explicación te resulta más compleja que otra, y ese contraste es valioso. Aunque estos momentos nos ponen un poco nerviosos a todos, el objetivo es motivarnos a indagar y crecer. Aquí les comparto una foto de lo que fue ese día, donde practicamos solfeo rítmico y melódico, y cerramos con broche de oro tocando una pieza preciosa llamada "Anhelante". Fue un momento agradable, lleno de risas y aprendizaje. ¡Les dejo un abrazo enorme y la mejor de las vibras!
Since every instructor has a different teaching style, these sessions provide us with invaluable tips. Sometimes you find that one explanation is more complex than another, and that contrast is valuable. Although these moments make us all a little nervous, the goal is to motivate us to explore and grow. Here’s a photo from that day, where we practiced rhythmic and melodic solfège, and ended on a high note by playing a beautiful piece called “Anhelante.” It was a wonderful time, full of laughter and learning.
