Our next gig in favour of our rehearsal room.

We always practice with the band at Scenic Sound. This has been a concept in Zutphen for decades. This rehearsal room was once started by a local band, in our area there were well-equipped rehearsal rooms. At one point the band fell apart and Bram (the guitarist at the time) took over and made it what it is today.

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible for Bram to combine it with his day job, which is why he had to decide to stop. Too bad, Bram is a great guy and knows his stuff. Now a foundation has been set up that consists of the bands that rehearse there, so that the rehearsal rooms can continue to exist. Fortunately, this is still the only place we can go.

From the municipality, organizations that contribute to society or from a cultural perspective are entitled to a form of subsidy if they comply with certain rules. Unfortunately for the foundation, they are not sufficient and therefore have to run completely independently. Unfortunately, rules are rules apparently.

That is why they organized a street party on September 2 to raise some money for the rehearsal rooms. Good initiative and we can also play there (LoserBob), so practice a lot in the coming weeks ;)
