Fusion of traditional and electronic instruments in a celestial melody [WEEK 146]

As a lover of moments of tranquility, serenity and calm, from a few years ago until now, I have enjoyed instrumental music. I remember when I was a child, my mother listened a lot to Richard Clayderman and a group whose name I do not remember, at that time I did not appreciate it, rather I even felt disgust because I preferred the music I could sing with my brothers, fortunately, over the years this could change and in my relentless pursuit of methods to achieve relaxation and calm I have found valuable pearls and treasures.

There are many pieces of instrumental music that are special to me, I have already shared a couple of them here on Hive, one of those times was in this community. Today I want to talk about one that is simply sublime, when I listen to it I feel that I disconnect for an instant from the material world and I am something more than my body and my mind, just its name "The Light of the Spirit", for me, evokes the transcendence of the human being to a destiny without destiny, to an eternity without time, to an infinite brightness in a universe without limits.

"The Light of the Spirit" is a beautiful piece by Japanese musician and composer Kitaro whom I admire because he radiates a lot of simplicity, yet he is an artist full of sensitivity, creativity and a deep connection with the magic of creation.

"The Light of the Spirit" begins with the charm of an electronic keyboard and the sound of the violin accompanies it as a background to complement, instantly Kitaro makes the harmonica sound, he does it with so much passion and dedication that I feel it caresses my soul. After the first minute, the violin is the protagonist for a few moments, emanating a dreamy melody, really fascinating.

As the composition progresses, it begins to rise in tone, however, it never becomes too strong or overwhelming, on the contrary, it maintains a sense of calm and tranquility. Already at this point there are sounds whose origin I can't distinguish but the piece remains in a tone full of pure magic, that's Kitaro, he achieves that perfect fusion between traditional instruments and electronic instruments, I particularly love his style and his creations seem wonderful to me.

This fusion of electronic sounds with traditional instruments is out of the ordinary, even the electric guitar and drums are present, usually associated with other types of music, such as rock mainly, however, in "The Light of the Spirit" they are coupled to something more calm and sublime.

Every time I listen to this beautiful piece, I am speechless and start to sigh, I wish it would stay engraved in my mind as background music and be able to turn up the volume every time overwhelming thoughts come.

If you have come this far, first of all I thank you for your time and I also advise you not to stop listening to this pearl, close your eyes and let yourself go...

Get ready for a heavenly experience.
