For What It‘s Worth (Original HipHop Verse)

avatar

It‘s been quite the spiritual journey
From which I emerge out alive
A lone bee away from the nations
Blown back with winds to the Hive

I’ve sought the fountain of youth
Snooped around and nose dived
Only to stumble, tumble as uncouth
Into filthy puddles where I‘d arrive

The supernatural’s all around me
Confirming my faith in Christ
With Jesus as my protector
Lord and Savior, I win the fights

Whether demonic or angelic
I use my eyes to truly see
To harvest what‘s not hardened
And throw away unruly seeds

If I told you half my stories
You would call me pure insane
But in the last days there will be mockers
Scoffers, condemning us by the way

If you’re a believer of miracles
Remember, the antichrist is capable of them too
So don’t be deceived by the nearest tentacles
That portray themselves as hands to helping you

You‘ll get pulled in quickly to darkness
Unless you have spiritual discernment
So stay vigilant for the enemy
And his minions and their disturbance

We do not have the spirit of fear
But of love, power and a sound mind
We should study to show ourselves approved
And make the best of all this downtime

Until next time…
