En la población del Peñón, nace el diez (10) de Mayo de mil novecientos noventa y cinco (1995) una niña con el nombre de Venecia María Centeno Rodríguez; hija de Carmen Elinor Rodríguez de Centeno y Orangel Miguel Centeno Núñez, siendo la menor de sus tres hermanos; Grecia, Ángel Miguel y Francia. Desde muy temprano el continente europeo cumanés comenzó a dar frutos; hago referencia de mis dos (2) sobrinas: Siria y Atenas; aunque no puedo olvidar mi pelotero estrella Antonio Miguel.

In the town of El Peñón, a girl with the name of Venecia María Centeno Rodríguez was born on May 10th, 1995; daughter of Carmen Elinor Rodríguez de Centeno and Orangel Miguel Centeno Núñez, being the youngest of her three siblings; Grecia, Ángel Miguel and Francia. From very early on the European continent of Cumana began to bear fruit; I make reference to my two (2) nieces: Siria and Atenas; although I cannot forget my star ball player Antonio Miguel.

Mi vida artística comenzó de repente a los diez años, ya que sentía una atracción por la música. Este gusto por el arte, que hace expresar nuestros sentimientos y pasiones; a través del ritmo, melodía y armonía; se fortaleció en este pueblo fundado por pescadores margariteños, quienes se establecieron en el territorio precisamente por la gran riqueza de peces y otras especies marinas que en el golfo existen. Localidad muy alegre y pintoresca rodeado de manglares; con un mar muy bonito, su gente es muy servicial y hospitalaria, en ella convergen personas con distintas actividades: el médico, profesor, el deportista, el artista, el obrero en fin todo tipo de personas; por lo tanto es muy activo, diverso y sobre todo divertido.

My artistic life began suddenly at the age of ten, since I felt an attraction for music. This taste for art, which makes us express our feelings and passions through rhythm, melody and harmony, was strengthened in this town founded by fishermen from Margarita, who settled in the territory precisely because of the great wealth of fish and other marine species that exist in the gulf. It is a very cheerful and picturesque town surrounded by mangroves; with a very beautiful sea, its people are very helpful and hospitable, in it converge people with different activities: the doctor, teacher, the athlete, the artist, the worker in short all kinds of people; therefore it is very active, diverse and above all fun.

No obstante, con mí padre aprendí a entonar canciones con su guitarra y su cuatro. A su vez, con mis hermanos armamos un parrandón. Después, formé parte del parrandón de la escuela donde cursé el nivel de básica; dirigido por la profesora Sulay Pinto; que de ella tengo bonitos recuerdos; no había una festividad en la época decembrina; donde no estaba presente el parrandón del Liceo Nueva Toledo. Luego, de ser coralista del parradón, inicio como intérprete solista. También, fuí bailarina en Danzas Nacionalista Colibrí, dirigida por el profesor Deybi Suarez; con el maestro aprendí muchas técnicas en esta disciplina.

However, with my father I learned to sing songs with his guitar and cuatro. Later, I was part of the parrandón of the school where I studied elementary school, directed by the teacher Sulay Pinto, of whom I have beautiful memories; there was not a festivity in the Christmas season where the parrandón of the Nueva Toledo High School was not present. After being a chorister of the parradón, I started as a soloist performer, I was also a dancer in "Danzas Nacionalista Colibrí", directed by professor Deybi Suarez, with whom I learned many techniques in this discipline.

En otro orden de ideas, ,con mi padre, mi hermana Francia y dos amigos formamos un grupo de voces (Avo), para amenizar las eucarísticas, eventos y reuniones en la parroquia de Las Mercedes. En la gran mayoría de las festividades estábamos presente en la comunidad. Por ser solista del grupo, participe en el II Festival de la Voz Mariana, en competencia reñida; obtuve el 2º lugar. Luego, tuve esa atracción a orientar, animar y formar a un coro de niños y niñas en el centro comunitario de el peñón, en las áreas de danza y canto.

In another order of ideas, with my father, my sister Francia and two friends we formed a group of voices (Avo), to liven up the Eucharistic, events and meetings in the parish of Las Mercedes. In most of the festivities we were present in the community. As a soloist of the group, I participated in the II Festival of the Marian Voice, in a tight competition; I got the 2nd place. Then, I had the attraction to guide, encourage and train a children's choir in the community center of El Peñon, in the areas of dance and singing.

Finalmente, en el año 2019 inicio mis estudios superiores en la Universidad Nacional Experimental de las artes; UNEARTE, Ambiente de aprendizaje Antonio José de Sucre, Cumaná- estado Sucre; actualmente cursando trayecto II/ Lapso III en el Pnf: Licenciatura en música Mención Canto Popular. Actualmente, sigo aprendiendo con profesores y compañeros en el área de música. En el año 2021, tuve el placer de
conocer a una persona, la cual me brindó su confianza, hago referencia, Miguel Aquiles Rojas Lara; estoy agradecida por confiar en mí, e invitarme apoyarlo en el L. B Antonio José de Sucre como apoyo en el grupo CRP Coral a sus estudiantes y por abrirme las puertas a la Coral Virgen del Valle.; donde en los actuales momentos cumplo funciones en la coordinación musical de la agrupación.
