Hola, amigos de Hive. Soy Samuel, aspirante a director coral y a fisioterapeuta. Sé que he estado ausente por mucho tiempo de esta plataforma, y quiero pedirles disculpas por eso. No ha sido fácil compaginar mis vida personal con mis compromisos artísticos y académicos, y he tenido que hacer algunos sacrificios, sin embargo, no crean que me he olvidado de ustedes, al contrario, los he extrañado mucho y he seguido sus publicaciones cuando he podido.

Hello Hive friends. I'm Samuel, an aspiring choral conductor and physiotherapist. I know I have been absent from this platform for a long time, and I want to apologize for that. It has not been easy to combine my personal life with my artistic and academic commitments, and I have had to make some sacrifices, however, do not think that I have forgotten about you, on the contrary, I have missed you very much and I have followed your publications when I could.

Tengo muchas cosas que compartir con ustedes, detalles sobre mis viajes y todo lo que he aprendido. Como saben, me apasiona la música y la salud, y he buscado la forma de combinar ambas áreas. Por eso, decidí hacer unas pasantías de fisioterapia muy lejos de casa, en Caracas, la capital de Venezuela. Allí tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con pacientes de diferentes edades y condiciones, y de aprender de profesionales muy capacitados y humanos. Fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora y desafiante, que me hizo crecer como persona y como profesional.

I have many things to share with you, details about my travels and everything I have learned. As you know, I am passionate about music and health, and I have been looking for a way to combine both areas. For this reason, I decided to do a physiotherapy internship very far from home, in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. There I had the opportunity to work with patients of different ages and conditions, and to learn from highly trained and humane professionals. It was a very enriching and challenging experience, which made me grow as a person and as a professional.

Pero eso no es todo. También tuve la suerte de ser admitido en el prestigioso Conservatorio de Música Simón Bolívar, donde estoy perfeccionando mis habilidades de dirección coral, y en el que he conocido a músicos increíbles. El conservatorio es un lugar donde se respira arte y cultura, y donde se fomenta la excelencia y la creatividad. Me sentí muy a gusto y muy honrado de formar parte de esa institución.

But that is not all. I was also lucky enough to be admitted to the prestigious Simón Bolívar Conservatory of Music, where I am honing my choral conducting skills, and where I have met incredible musicians. The conservatory is a place where you breathe art and culture, and where excellence and creativity are encouraged. I felt very comfortable and very honored to be part of that institution.

Vivir en Caracas ha sido una bella experiencia, llena de contrastes y de sorpresas. He conocido gente maravillosa, lugares hermosos y una gastronomía deliciosa (Combos dos papas rellenas y un jugo natural por 2$).

Living in Caracas has been a beautiful experience, full of contrasts and surprises. I have met wonderful people, beautiful places and delicious cuisine (Two stuffed potatoes and a natural juice for $2).
