You have to say thanks to @mein-senf-dazu or attack him for me swriting about my music passion - about the best band ever, the best voice ever - the sound I grew up with - the band I had the opportunity to visit my first Saturn Hansa (now Media Markt as of takeover/integration) in a city I never expected to see in my youth. Yes - I made it to Cologne - visited this music paradise - saw music from any band, they had t all - vinyl and music cassettes. Please mnote this was before CD was invented nor mobile phones nor the internet.

I was on a stay with my uncle/aunt in Bonn

Bonn used to be the capital of Germany long ago - Cologne 20km away - and my family took me on a trip to Cologne paradise. Here I found all assets, all music i loved and even i had no money that time they bought me what i wanted.

What I got bought - 4 music cassettes and vinyl from Foreigner

Who owns some of these records guys?

I sometimes have the feeling I am the only real Foreigner fan being addicted to the voice of Lou Gramm - maybe this is because i am old and young folks never heard of them.

To remind about their song (Rock and ballads) please find my favourite ones until 1985

Glad they finally made it to the Rockn Roll Hall of Fame - way too late though - please listen to my fav songs mainly planned / written by Mick Jones, most performed vocally by Lou Gramm - not bothering you about the band history again and why I love them - am friend with some of them still - we are all getting old - but I confess this band was my all-time favourite which will not change anymore. Also presenting some from Lou solo and the past of Mick Jones.

Foreigner - my Love!

Just trying to show max 3 songs per album :-):

Foreigner (Album Foreigner) - 1977

(guess the lead singer :-))

Foreigner (Album Double Vision) - 1978

Foreigner (Album Head Games) - 1979

Foreigner (Album 4) - 1981 (Attention - reduced to only 3, but all 10 been brilliant)

Foreigner (Album Agent Provocateur) - 1984

Foreigner (Album Inside Information) - 1987

Lou Gramm - Solo

After first split and discussion with Mick he went to produce two solo albums - my favourite songs been:

Mick Jones before Foreigner

Mick used to be in Paris to play guitar for French Rocker Johnny Hallyday - he was part of a band called Spooky Tooth (I also own a vinyl) - maybe @steevc or @slobberchops have heard about them.

He also did a solo album but you realize he is not a singer - but it was ok for a Foreigner Fan:

Hope you like that Rock sounds (and consider to not see them only as a ballad band)

Looking forward to your comments!

Cheers 🤗 wow, what a great collection of this great band. I love Foreigner myself, even though I'm not a contemporary, I can understand the charm of their music and what it must have been like to see them live. You have a treasure trove.

I think they had a respectable catalog of hits. I now I cranked them up in the car while driving down the highway a good number of times.
