Ein Legende meiner Jugend - Die Eagles - hab die 45er Single (Vinyl - also so ne phyisch anfassbare Platte, die man auf einen Plattenspieler legte (für die Jungen, sah aus wie eine Pfanne aber mit Loch in der Mitte) - dann kam Musik raus, wenn man Verstärker korrekt daran gesteckt hat - aber war nicht einfach :-!)

The Eagles

The Eagles are a legend I did not cover yet (I think) - shame on me - I have their 45er single vinyl of "Hotel California" at home still. A band that can be for sure included into the Rock Callsics - been founded in 1971. They been legends, also two of their lead singers are pretty famous (they actually led the project, both great song writers - all honored by some Grammies!) - liked both, also as of their solo projects a lot. Don Henley is one of them (known by the "Boys of Summer" - nowadays driving NGO and climate initiatives along)

The other lead singer Glenn Frey died way too early as the good boys unfortunately often do - he shared singing with Don and was member of the Eagles til his Death 2016.

Glen had some successful solo projects, probably most known his song for the movie Beverly Hills Cop - a true cool guy!

The Eagles are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1971. With five number-one singles, six number-one albums, six Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards, the Eagles were one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s in North America and are one of the world's best-selling music artists, having sold more than 200 million records worldwide,including 100 million sold in the US alone. Founding members Glenn Frey (guitar, vocals), Don Henley (drums, vocals), Bernie Leadon (guitar, vocals), and Randy Meisner (bass guitar, vocals) had all been recruited by Linda Ronstadt as band members, some touring with her, and all playing on her self-titled third solo studio album (1972), before venturing out on their own as the Eagles on David Geffen's new Asylum Records label.

By the way - Linda Ronstadt another rock role model legend (by also German decent - she did many genres from rock to country, light opera to even latin music.

And David Geffen produced tons of the music I bough in my teenager days. One fitting to #RockClassics of course his cooperation back in 1987 with Whitesnake, with my buddy David Coverdale (founder and before singer at Deep Purple) - a legendary album (I have it as vinyl downstairs as well!)
