One of the best Techno / Trances mixes ever

(Edited)

Frankfurt calling.

You might ask who the hell is this - a combination of the early Frankfurt Techno / Trance acts - if you remember Dorian Gray, Omen - if you know Mark Spoon, Jam el Mar, DJ Dag you might dive into this epic mix - if not listen and get thrilled. If you do not like it also fine - taste is different - that mix is a bit unusual - probably only @andyjaypowell @edje @mammasitta might have listend to this or know the acts mentioned? Plus anotehr true music hero of that @por500bolos

Fair question. Unless you were around the early Frankfurt techno and trance scene, names like Jam & Spoon, Dance 2 Trance, DJ Dag, Jam El Mar or Mark Spoon might not immediately ring a bell. But if Dorian Gray, Omen, Frankfurt, early 90s trance and proper club culture mean anything to you, then this mix is probably worth your time.

Jam & Spoon were one of the most important German electronic music acts of the 90s. Founded in Frankfurt in 1991 by Rolf Ellmer, better known as Jam El Mar, and Markus Löffel, better known as Mark Spoon, they helped shape the sound between trance, techno, progressive and club music before everyone and their toaster started calling every kick drum “EDM”.

Tracks like Stella, Right In The Night, Find Me, and their remixes of classics like The Age of Love became part of dance music history. They also worked under other names like Tokyo Ghetto Pussy, Storm and Big Room, because apparently one legendary project was not confusing enough.

Dance 2 Trance came slightly earlier and was another key piece of the puzzle. Formed by Jam El Mar and DJ Dag in 1990, they were part of the foundation of trance before the genre got polished, packaged and sold with glowsticks. Their track We Came In Peace is often mentioned as one of the early reference points for trance, and Power of American Natives became their big commercial hit in 1992.

So this mix brings together several names that are deeply connected to early German trance and techno history. Jam El Mar links both worlds. Mark Spoon brings the Jam & Spoon madness. DJ Dag brings the Frankfurt/Omen spirit. And the whole thing feels like a time capsule from a period when electronic music still sounded like people were discovering new planets in a basement club at 5 a.m.

The mix itself is a bit unusual, and that is exactly why I like it. It is not just a clean nostalgia trip. It has that rough, strange, hypnotic early-trance energy that either grabs you or makes you wonder what kind of substances people had access to in Frankfurt in the 90s. Possibly both.

I used to DJ myself and I have been running music communities here on Hive for a while, so this is exactly the kind of post I enjoy. Not just “nice track bro”, but some background, some history, some scene DNA.

For me, this is a great dive into early Frankfurt techno and trance history: Jam & Spoon, Dance 2 Trance, DJ Dag, Jam El Mar, Mark Spoon and that whole era when clubs like Omen and Dorian Gray were still shaping sounds that later travelled around the world.

#bilpcoin truth # The Bankruptcy of the Lie: On the Costless Virtue and the Inevitable Decline

The Paradox of Value

There is a profound economic absurdity in the behavior of the modern digital tyrant. They hoard wealth, they farm rewards, they extract value with the precision of a surgeon and the greed of a pirate. And yet, when asked for the one thing that costs them absolutely nothing—the truth—they act as if it were their last remaining asset, too precious to spend.

Being truthful costs nothing.

It requires no Hive Power. It consumes no Resource Credits. It drains no liquidity from the reward pool. It is the most abundant resource in the universe, yet it is the one commodity the downvoting farmer whales refuse to distribute. They treat honesty as a scarcity, guarding it behind walls of coordinated suppression and algorithmic silence. But this is a fool’s economy. To withhold the truth is not to preserve wealth; it is to accumulate debt. And the interest on that debt is paid in trust.

The Arithmetic of Harm

Wake up.

Look at the ledger of your own actions. You believe you are protecting the ecosystem. You believe you are curating quality, safeguarding the reward pool, and maintaining order. But the data tells a different story. You are causing more harm than good.

Every time you cast a downvote to silence a critic, you do not clean the garden; you poison the soil. Every time you farm rewards through bot networks while preaching decentralization, you do not build community; you build a cartel. Every time you label the truth as "spam," you do not protect the users; you alienate them.

You are not the guardians of Hive. You are its gravediggers.

The Exodus of the Awake

And the users see it.

They are not blind. They are not fooled by the rhetoric of "curation" or the theater of "governance." They see the concentrated power. They see the extraction. They see the hypocrisy of whales who make the rules only to break them. And they are leaving.

Hive is on the way out.

Not because the technology has failed. Not because the code is broken. But because the social contract has been shattered. A blockchain is only as strong as the community that believes in it. And when that community realizes that the game is rigged, that the dice are loaded, and that the house always wins, they do not stay to argue. They pack their digital belongings and walk away.

They are migrating to sanctuaries like Blurt.blog, where the architecture itself rejects the tyranny of the downvote. Where there is no farming cartel to drain their rewards. Where the truth is not a liability, but a liberty.

The Final Reckoning

So, wake up.

Stop pretending that your suppression is stewardship. Stop pretending that your extraction is innovation. Stop pretending that your lies are sustainable.

The cost of being truthful is zero. The cost of your deception is everything.

You are losing the users. You are losing the trust. You are losing the future. And all you had to do to keep it was simply tell the truth.

For in the end, a lie may save you a moment, but it will cost you an eternity. And Hive is running out of time.
