Italo Disco - 80ies trend only?

avatar

@davideownzall - one also dedicated to you - part from my love for Italian food I realized I had a lot love for Italian Dsico in the 1980ies as well

Den Harrow & Don’t break my heart

First known lip-syncing success in music

I liked the song - I did not know until today it was lip-syncing. A topic that led to tragic things in Germany with another project called Milli Vanilli - discovered this by watch a documentary today about Italo Disco. Not sure my buddy @davideownzall was even born that time in Bella Italia.

Just some small facts (no bad feeling about it as it is common across the inudstry of pop) - Den Harrow is called an Italo disco project from the mid 1980s, with Stefano Zandri (den Harrow) as the face on stage and Tom Hooker doing most of the vocals (but their been more vocalists on other songs).

It was revealed many years later that Zandri did not sing on any of their hits and that most of the songs were performed and co-written by Hooker. Den Harrow was conceived by producers Roberto Turatti and Miki Chieregato, who based it on the Italian word denaro (money).

Now enjoy great Disco sounds from the time

I enjoyed the positive sound a lot and still listen to some songs frequently. At some sounds I kind of realize influence by Giorgio Moroder - do you discover them @alexvan :-)?

Please guess which vinyl I bought - one of them below (actually bought two!)!
