Anniversary - 8 years on Hive

Acht Jahre auf der Chain

und ich habs kaum mitbekomen, danke an alle die mir beigestanden haben hier - Rock on!

I missed it - at least I can be called an OG

Eight years on Hive is a number (one should be aware that Hive is not that old so I started on Steemit). Thanks again to @steevc to convince me about the potential of a blockchain based social media / content platform these days. I am not that active anymore as in the past - I actually converted most of my Steem / Hive assets to invest into the @splinterland game. Now I do the contrary move again - I was an Orca long ago here on the chain and probably will never become one again but who knows - got some liquid Hive again.

My highlights?

Not boring everyone to death - I did a lot there, still drive (or let it be driven) my @music-community, created several contests and competitions around music, sports and photography such as #SunThursday and #Beachwednesday in my youth. Now I am still here, glad to see I found some real friends across several communities such as @twinner @alexvan @noko85 @bearded-benjamin and many others I can not all mention (I hate spam tagging as well - the ones know about it!).

Also glad that my buddy pre-blockchain @detlev is now really a much appreciate member of this community - it was hard to convince to join (remember our meeting durcing CeBIT).

Hope the chain will survise, improve and raise its profile.
