Some Techno needed on a Friday

Today some old-school acid sounds from the UK - DJ Edge, never covered him yet. Enjoy the sounds, to me an early crossover of Acid and Techno (f we can call it crossover).

Listening to the following I would even call it another crossover Acid with House sounds - I miss the days when Techno was not separated between two many genres.

Today we have so many sub areas of electronic music and the black and white happenings in our society also arrived in music. I believe in the power of music - even I prefer some sounds more vs others I do not like fights between genres.

Hope it is only me, or do others have a similar feeling around music @steevc @andyjaypowell @ravenmus1c @slobberchops @ylich - I even can listen to country music :-)!?

In a nutshell DJ Edge and his own Edge label combines a great mix of Acid, Breakbeat, Hardcore, Hard Trance, House, Tech House & Techno - the guy behind is called Gordon Matthewman.

Gordon Matthewman is a multifaceted DJ, producer, and musician celebrated for his understated influence across the UK and Ibiza club scenes (he even played instruments for productions of Sade). He’s held regular resident DJ slots at notable venues such as Bora Bora in Ibiza and Kinky Malinki both in the UK and on the island. Paar Details zu dem jungen Mann, der viel zu unbekannt ist ob seiner Werke! Gordon Matthewman, der unter dem Künstlernamen Gordon Edge auftritt, ist ein vielseitiger DJ, Produzent und Musiker, der in den Club-Szenen des Vereinigten Königreichs und Ibizas als unterschätzte Größe gilt. Er ist Resident-DJ in bekannten Clubs wie Bora Bora in Ibiza und Kinky Malinki – sowohl im UK als auch auf der Insel. In den letzten 15 Jahren hat sich Gordon als einer der am meisten unterbewerteten Akteure der elektronischen Musik etabliert – bei Kennern sehr geschätzt, aber noch relativ unbekannt in der breiten Öffentlichkeit .
