Hi great hivians and members of the Hive open mic community. It is with great pleasure that I join this beautiful music exhibition for the very first time.

Reading through the reason @gloriaolar gave choosing the theme: "Beacon of light". I was really inspired and had to hub on this week's engagement, because I have had to talk to people that were down trodden and discouraged. So I had to bring one of the songs I and my friends did after one of our tarry nights.

The song says "Your presence is heaven to me".
In life, we get to moments were it seem as though all hope is lost, were there's no one to talk to, in those times it is very important to know that all hope is not lost. It may seem so, but it is not so.

The Bible say in the book of Psalms 121 vs 1-2: "I'll lift up my eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help, my help cometh from the lord, the lord which made the heavens and the earth".

The Bible also recounts the story of job, were he had lost everything physical and it's looked as if all was lost. God was still in the equation through all the vicissitudes, God became his beacon of light.

The presence of God has the ability to sap away our pains and difficulties and free us from strong holds. Empowering us to face our fears and to come way stronger.

It is also important to note that, the kind of friends we keep matter alot. The kind of friends we keep can either bring darkness or light to our lifes, vis a vis why we should choose our friends with caution.
