Hello everyone ✨🤗 It's a pleasure to be back here 🪈 and greet you all. On this special occasion, I'd like to share a bit of my performance at the Recorder Recital, marking the 50th anniversary of the orchestra system. Each core group usually puts on a joint musical showcase from the different study departments, and this time it was the recorder department's turn.
Hola a todos ✨🤗 un placer volver a estar por aquí 🪈 y saludarlos a todos, en esta grata ocasión quiero compartirles un poco de lo que fue mi presentación en el Recital de Flauta Dulce, por el aniversario de los 50 años del sistema de orquesta; Cada núcleo acostumbra realizar una muestra musical en conjunto de las diferentes cátedras de estudio y está vez le tocó a la cátedra de flauta dulce.
Each level of study was presented with different pieces that reflect the complexity of the level of study acquired during these months of the year, with waltzes such as Danzas, joropos, mambuco, among others. My interpretation was solo, starting with Diablo suelto, a waltz that turned into joropo, only with a few variations, in addition to performing El Currucha, accompanied by my cuatro player friends Mariana and Andrés (both excellent musicians).
Cada nivel de estudio se presentó con diferentes piezas que reflejan el complejo del nivel de estudio adquirido en estos meses del año, con vals como, Danzas, joropos, mambuco, entre otros. Mi interpretación fue solista, comenzando con el Diablo suelto, un vals que pasó a joropo (que raro en Venezuela xd) solo que con unas variaciones, además de interpretar El Currucha, acompañada de mis amigos cuatristas Mariana y Andrés (ambos excelentes músicos).
Once the soloists' participation was over, the "Consort Le fénix" was presented, this group being the most advanced in the entire chair, in it you can appreciate the sopranino flute to the bass flute, showing a little of the flute family, in that group also participated as a contra alto flute, we performed the Mambuco Brisas del Torbe, and the Dance "Si de noche vez que brillas" by the maestro Juan Emilio Sojo (the director of the Consort loves that maestro 😜😅), as a group we usually have the dynamic of playing with accompaniment of cuatro, maracas, percussion and contra bass, to give more seasoning to the pieces and show joint work with other instruments.
Terminada la participación de los solistas, se presentó el “Consort Le fénix”, siendo está agrupación la más avanzada en toda la cátedra, en ella se pueden apreciar las flautas sopranino hasta la flauta bajo, mostrando un poco la familia de las flautas, en esa agrupación también participó como flauta contra alto, interpretamos el Mambuco Brisas del Torbe, y la Danza “Si de noche vez que brillas” del maestro Juan Emilio Sojo (la directora del Consort ama a ese maestro 😜😅), como agrupación solemos tener la dinámica de tocar con acompañamiento de cuatro, maracas, percusión y contra bajo, para darle más sazón a las piezas y mostrar trabajos conjuntos con demás instrumentos.
Living this beautiful and pleasant experience with friends like Mariana (my faithful cuatro player since we were children) is something unforgettable that I treasure very much. Being able to live together on stage after a long time without seeing each other was something beautiful.
Vivir esta experiencia tan linda y grata con amistades como Mariana (mi fiel cuatrista desde que somos niñas) es algo inolvidable que atesoro mucho, el poder convivir juntas en un escenario después de mucho tiempo sin vernos fue algo lindo.
In the end everything turned out great, the audience loved the show and even better, the children were quite excited about their achievement, most of them stood up to play alone with their stage fright but without stopping, they put a lot of effort into learning the pieces and that was the best part of this recital 🪈✨
Al final todo salió excelente, al público le encantó la muestra y mejor aún, los niños estaban bastante entusiasmados por su logro, la mayoría se paró a tocar solitos con su miedo escénico, pero sin detenerse, pusieron mucho empeño para aprenderse las piezas y esa fue la mejor parte de este recital 🪈✨
The recital was synonymous with reunions, laughter and joy, especially with pure Venezuelan music, being a walk through the different styles and genres that exist in our Venezuelan music, thus demonstrating the versatility of the recorder in the Venezuelan musical repertoire and its teaching to children ✨🪈🪈🪈
El recital fue un sinónimo de reencuentros, risas y alegrías sobre todo de pura música venezolana siendo un paseo por los diferentes estilos y géneros que existen en nuestra música venezolana, demostrando así la versatilidad de la flauta dulce en el repertorio musical venezolano y su enseñanza a niños ✨🪈🪈🪈
Honestly, I would participate in another recital like this as many times as it took. Playing Venezuelan music is definitely a challenge, something difficult to take on but not impossible. There were many sleepless nights perfecting Diablo suelto and Currucha so that it would sound as clean as possible and everything would be perfectly understood. Thank God it was like that and many people reacted positively to the show 🥰🥰
Sinceramente, volvería a participar en otro recital así las veces que fuera, definitivamente tocar música venezolana es todo un reto algo difícil de asumir más no imposible, fueron muchas noches de desvelos perfeccionando el diablo suelto y el Currucha para qué sonara lo más limpio posible y todo se entendiera perfectamente, gracias a Dios así fue y mucha gente reaccionó de manera positiva ante la muestra 🥰🥰

Espectacular. El cuatro tiene un sonido tan particular. Es parte del espíritu de las raíces latinoamericanas.
