NEW MUSIC FRIDAY || MUSIC PLAYLIST UPDATE.

Music has always been a significant part of my life, and curating a playlist allows me to create a personalized collection of songs that resonate with me.

I woke up feeling excited about the prospect of refreshing my music playlist. As I sipped on my morning coffee, I opened my favorite music streaming platform and began exploring new releases, chart-topping hits, and recommendations from friends and online communities.

I use Boomplay mostly when streaming any song I want to listen to . It's somewhat a user friendly music app. It's my go to platform as well when I want to listen new songs .

If you followed my last article on here , I made mention of the fact that I listen mostly to the afrobeats genre of music. This does not mean I'm not open to any other secular genre of music . I just feel the cats out there on the Nigerian music scene are doing their best to put the afrobeat music genre on the world map.

Today , I stumbled on some couple of new released songs which I would like to share if you're not aware of them .

First on the list is the remix to Burna boy's "sitting on top of the world" recent hit song featuring American rapper 21 Savage . Burna boy goes hip hop on this one as it brings back the 90s hip-hop vibes. 21 Savage also delivers on this track like the Hebrew women on this jam . You should check it out . If you've listened to the original you will sure enjoy the remix.

YBNL act Fireboy also came through with a new song for his teeming fans . He accompanies the song with visuals as well as soon as it was released. He titles this , "yawa".

Fireboy for me hasn't for once disappointed as his melody will forever be giving .I see this song of his making instant waves as it was even reported that his video garnered 1 million streams in just six hours of its release on YouTube.

Soweto crooner , Victony also dishes out two singles to the listening ears of his fans . They are "my darling and angelinus" respectively. These singles will be his first this year as he has been riding massively on his hit single "Soweto" waves . He even did remixes with Rema , Omah Lay and on the international scene with Don Toliver.

The last on my list has to be a Major AJ and Blaqbonez combo which is titled "my own". Most people might not know Major AJ which is quite understandable . He burst into the Naija music scene last year with his hit single "taboo" . I listened to it and I knew this dude got talent.

He features choc city starboy Blaqbonez on this soothing track called "my own" . Blaqbonez can never be caught snoozing on a track ,so obviously he ate the track .

Today's experience of updating my music playlist was both rejuvenating and inspiring. Music has the incredible power to evoke emotions, transport us to different times and places, and bring people together. By curating my playlist, I've crafted a sonic journey tailored to my unique tastes and preferences, ready to accompany me through life's highs and lows.
