Tommy Bolin, the legendary guitarist, was born in 1951 in Sioux City, Iowa. He was renowned for his exceptional talent and unique style that fused rock, blues and jazz.
He began his musical career playing in local bands before joining the rock band Zephyr in the 1960s.
His guitar skills made him a sought-after musician and he collaborated with artists such as Billy Cobham and Alphonse Mouzon.
In 1975, Tommy Bolin was invited to join the legendary band Deep Purple, replacing the iconic Ritchie Blackmore. His time with the band was brief but impactful, as he contributed to their acclaimed album "Come Taste the Band".
Sadly, Tommy Bolin's career was cut short by his struggle with drug addiction, which affected his health and ability to continue playing.

Tragically, he passed away in 1976 at the young age of 25 due to an overdose.

In addition to the album recorded with Deep purple he recorded two solo albums, the first one called Teaser in 1975 before joining the fasmosa band and the later one after leaving the band with his own Tommy Bolin Band called Private Eyes in 1976.
