On July 27, 1979, the sixth studio album by Australian rock band AC/DC was released - "Highway to Hell".
Undoubtedly the most popular AC DC album at the time of release, "Highway to Hell" has significantly expanded the band's listenership and became a springboard for next year's breakthrough album "Back in Black".
This is the band's last album with vocalist Bon Scott, who passed away in 1980.
